My partner and I filed in January 2018 and are currently waiting for our noa2 I-130.

We are thinking of traveling to Asia in August/September. Probably for a month to six weeks of summer.

I'm thinking this should be ok, but just wanted to double check if this is a good idea or not. I mean, even if paperwork does come through (say the day after we leave for asia) we'll have a few months to reply right?

I doubt we will be booking anything until end of July anyways, but just want to double check before we start to plan the trip.

You can travel as long as you have advance parole. What do you mean by paperwork coming thru? If you get notice of an interview, it is usually about 1 month notice.

I'm currently in UK and my other half is in USA. I mean paperwork as in, if we get an RFE whilst we are away? Or do you usually have to respond to those immediately. Sorry I should of explained it better.
