Traveling on H1B while waiting to get combo card

Hi VJers,

 

We had a quick question for you all. My wife is a Canadian citizen applying for AOS/EAD/AP. I am a US Citizen. She has an H1B visa that expires first week of July. We are at 104 days since our NOA for AOS/EAD/AP and no word on when we will get the combo card. We have read somewhere that people travel on H1B even when they have or do not have their combo card.

 

Can she travel to Canada while we wait to get our Combo Card as long as she has her H1B?
