Hi All,

 

I have already updated my VJ timeline with the following details, but still sharing so that folks can add us in the table for the May 2018 filers:

 

Sevice Center: Vermont

Date of Mailing: May 07th, 2018

Date received: May 09th, 2018

 

I would recommend everyone to please update their VJ timelines as well please.

Hey Guys! My I-751 has been accepted and my green card is being produced. I just received a letter notifying me of this today, my case was processed by the CSC, they received my original package at 5/

I also got the Feb waiver and then a biometrics appt letter.  Did my code 5 fingerprints done last week. Two days later got a "new card being produced' update. Good luck all.

I'm pretty sure we will receive an updated i-797, they say they will issue "NEW" forms to those whose case were pending as June 11 which means that all those from June 11 will receive the updated i-79

According to the April 2018 filers thread.

He will be able to work. He can not however, try to get another job because he would need his green card/NOA Extension letter for a new I-9.  He will not be able to leave the country tho, as there is no extension letter. 

Technically it's his green card that expires. In the system, he is technically a legal permanent resident until USCIS revokes that status. The green card is just proof of the legal status.

Just found this forum. Can you add me to CSC list:

 

Mailed: 05/02/2018

Received: 05/03/2018

 

I was reading other people sent their's with signature requested. I only sent mine through priority using USPS and as such only have tracking telling me it's delivered but the website doesn't show address confirmation. Green card expiring on 05/27/2018. What happens if it expires without NOA being received and I have no signature confirmation for Proof of Delivery? 

 

Should I file again to be safe?

Added you! Do not file again. CSC has a backlog, and they will get to it eventually - there are many other people in the same boat. Filing again will not serve any purpose. Your application is most likely there, just untouched. My understanding is that your physical card expires, NOT your permanent resident status, so you will be fine. Again, it's not ideal, but I think we'll just have to wait this out.

Hi all,

 

I am so glad to find this post and all the related I-751 topics.  I had originally thought my husband had to have his new green card in hand before the Conditional one expired so I was in a bit of a panic when I saw the processing times.  I really thought I'd missed the deadline but it sounds like we're not alone in this waiting game.  Thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences.

 

Can someone add us to the CSC list please?  Thanks much!
