Hi All,

We received and email today morning from the account on the new USCIS website that action has been taken on our case. After logging in the new website, it says “New Card Is Being Produced”. On the old website the case status still does not work for us. Our case was filed at VSC.

Kind regards,

ConiMoni

I received my appointment for Biometrics as well today. Does anybody know what are the walk-in hours for the San Jose USCIS center for biometrics? I wasn’t able to find the info on their website.

Never mind. I did my biometrics this morning (original scheduled appt was for June 12). Hoping things move forward quickly from here.

Honestly didn't expect the case to go through in only a year considering how much material I submitted. But good luck to those still waiting. I am sure everyone will get the good news soon!

Can you share the date of your scheduled biometrics and when you actually did the biometrics? Trying to understand the timeline after the fingerprinting process as I have travel plans to Canada on June 20 and would prefer I have my GC rather than travel with the extension letter.

Every case differs. Biometrics isn't an indicator of approval. It just means that they need Biometrics to go onto the next step, be that approval or interview schedule. It's been about 50/50 for approvals after biometrics.

I got the bio notice in late June/early July 2018 (can't remember the date) and did the biometrics on July 17th, 2018. Every case is different. I was done with biometrics a long time ago. Sorry this wouldn't help much.

It could be transferred at your local office or another office (Nebraska, Potomac , Texas) .  Just wait for letter to know for sure. A lot of cases have been transferred regardless if  one applies for N400.

We received yesterday a biometric appointment on June 13 at 9:am in Denver  CO.  Before a view months,  we received a biometric waving letter. Is there anyone received a biometric letter after they have been waived to do it.

Thanks and good luck everyone.
