I saw so many updates from you guys and I logged in earlier to the new website, and nothing.

BUT I just got a text message saying my case is now updated, so I checked on the old website uscis.gov and woohoo!

New Card Is Being Produced

On May 23, 2019, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC18174xxxxx

Edit: FYI, my case was never transferred, my case status was "Case Received" from the new website since June 2018. And on old website I was never able to check the status.

That is wonderful news!!!!

Took a 9 hour round trip to Kenwood, Mi for 15 minutes of Biometrics after we were informed in February 2019 it would not be necessary but they would keep our fee. Also received an R.F.E. last week wanting more information. Something is going on at USCIS... Will try to bury them with paperwork. It is a little unsettling after putting in so much effort to do this the "legal" way.

Nothing is going on with USCIS. They sent out biometric waivers in mass to almost anyone who had a case processing by Feb 2019. This was done in the thousands and as far as we can tell, there wasn't a case that didn't get it unless they had already done biometrics or were a newer case. If you pulled case numbers from around our time frame you'll find that MOST of them recieved waivers within the week of Feb 27th.

There had been many delays and it's possible that sending out the waivers in mass was their way of saying "don't worry we're working on your case" when in reality they weren't.

What did you send initially? The goal is always to bury them with paperwork and proof as long as it's not useless or repetitive, it's best to leave no doubt in their minds when you send things to them.

Anyone here who were transferred to Potomac Center from CSC in early March are still waiting? It’s been almost 80 days since the transfer but still heard nothing. Mine was transfer once on March 6th and then again next day on March 7th. I’ve only received one transfer notice stating it’s at Potomac. Also, I travel abroad a lot for work. My extension letter is even getting worn out from being used again and again almost every week. Last week it almost got me into trouble cause the line on the letter stating 18 month extension was barely readable. Does anyone know if I can request another official copy of extension letter from USCIS or it’s better to make a info pass at local office and just get a stamp on the passport? It’s getting really frustrating from this long waiting game 😭

We went to our biometrics appointment in St. Louis on 5/20 and received a notice that it was approved on 5/20.  Today he received his green card in the mail.  I wasn't expecting it to get approved right after our appointment.
