Hey Guys! My I-751 has been accepted and my green card is being produced. I just received a letter notifying me of this today, my case was processed by the CSC, they received my original package at 5/

I also got the Feb waiver and then a biometrics appt letter.  Did my code 5 fingerprints done last week. Two days later got a "new card being produced' update. Good luck all.

I'm pretty sure we will receive an updated i-797, they say they will issue "NEW" forms to those whose case were pending as June 11 which means that all those from June 11 will receive the updated i-79

New Card Is Being Produced

Congrats!!! That's terrific! What a relief it must be....

 

 I did my biometrics on Monday and have been checking both the old site (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do), which has had no information about my case since the beginning and the new site (https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/), which has been stuck on "Case received" status for an eternity. Hope to see some movement soon!

2 Updates today:

  1. Went to my biometrics appointment this morning. It was super quick and super easy, so for everyone who still has to go: don't worry about it!
  2. Apparently sending in our lease, tax returns (filed jointly), car insurance and travel documents are not enough to prove our marriage. Instead, they are asking for stuff like credit card bills and copies of our driver's licenses?? I mean, not that it's an issue to send that over, but HOW IN THE WORLD does that proof our marriage better than the stuff we originally sent in?

Hi guys I want to provide some update on the tireless situation regarding our I751 approval. I got a letter in the mail to go for biometrics on Teusday 05/21. This is despite waiving that requirement like everyone in the Carlifornia centre. The letter instructed to go for biometrics on 06/07 but I was impatient and went there today 5/23. I got the biometrics done successfully without any issues. I wish the best for everyone in this group. Hopefully hear something positive soon. I will keep you all updated. Cheers.

I saw so many updates from you guys and I logged in earlier to the new website, and nothing. 

 

BUT I just got a text message saying my case is now updated, so I checked on the old website uscis.gov and woohoo! 

 

New Card Is Being Produced

On May 23, 2019, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC18174xxxxx

 

Edit: FYI, my case was never transferred, my case status was "Case Received" from the new website since June 2018. And on old website I was never able to check the status.

Was lease, tax returns, car insurance, and travel documents all you sent in? If so that's skirting some lines and most wouldn't consider it enough to completely satisfy an officer, would have expected an RFE for financial commingling for sure. 

Lease shows you live together which is good, tax returns just show you filed together with is okay, car insurance can be done with any person regardless of the relationship so it's meh alone but stronger with other insurances or bills, and travel documents are meh.

The top hitters for proof are joint financial accounts like credit cards and bank accounts from the inception of marriage, multiple things showing same address like drivers license, bills, pay stubs. They also like to see joint health insurance, wills, power of attorney, beneficiaries on 401k and/or stock plans, any kind of joint loans.

With that said, just send out anything new or anything else you can think of. Not like you'll get denied, but the more you send you may up your chances at not having an interview.

Congrats to those who have received their permanent resident card!

 

I'm a May'18 filer as well. Case remained with CSC and was updated in Feb'19 stating biometrics are not required. Not updates since then. Just want to confirm with others on how they're checking their account status. I created an account on https://my.uscis.gov and added my WAC receipt number to myaccount. Is there anything more I need to do ensure I get my status updates? As of now the update that shows on my account states: "We received your case..You do no need to do anything at this time".

Honestly, they update whenever/whatever they want... 

 

I was never able to check my status on uscis.gov, however it was updated to "Card is being produced" yesterday.

And my case stayed at "case received" on the https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov since June 2018, and did not update when uscis.gov updated yesterday. 

 

There really is nothing we can do, other than just wait...
