After I got informed that I'll have to go in for biometrics, today the new website changed my status for the very first time!

Unfortunately, I am now also getting an RFE on top of the biometrics. From what I've read here lately it sounds like I'll have to put together a whole new package, as I had sent over everything they usually request and more. So fingers crossed they are actually just asking for something simple 🤨

How many of the RFE people here already got approved?

I got same thing  , hopefully i will get official REF letter  in mail tomorrow

Hi everybody...just an update:

Today I also received a Biometrics Appointment Letter after almost 3 months of receiving the reuse notification. It is dated 5/10/2019 and the appointment is for May 31 2019. I will try to do a walk in to see if that saves me a couple weeks on this eternal waiting.

I , too, received a Biometrics appointment yesterday after getting the earlier waiver in late February. Mine is also dated 05/10/2019. My appointment is for May 30th, and as it happens, I will be out of the country. I am going to try and do a walk-in next week. Has anyone had any luck with a walk-in appointment prior to the actual Biometrics appointment?

I've read that others have been successful with walk-ins, but can also be dependent on your local office. Doesnt hurt to try at least

Hello everyone, my husband is preparing to fill his removing of condition forms , his 90 days period started 3 days ago..

Is there any check list that can help us ..

We filled the for I751

We have joint bank account statements,  joint Credit cards, property lease in both our names, and utilities are in his name only, joint tax return for the last 2 years, but our income isn't enough,  my sister is supporting us, so we will include her tax returns too, ( do we need affidavit support form from her again??)) We don't have a car yet we are both students, I am 6 month pregnant now , we used to live with my sister in her house ,but we moved 8 months ago, because my husband found a new job,  but will still use her address that we had in his AOS, we traveled together to Mexico last year,  we have our reservation in both names, airline tickets and pictures .

We have a separate health insurance.

What else we will need?

Thanks in advance and good luck everyone one.

hi

just got RFE  in mail, asking for more evidence

- they want to see joint credit card statement , which we don't have, we have separate credit card

- joint checking and saving account transaction pages (we have that )

- joint utility bills cable and electric - which we don't have (I have only my name on it)

-birth certificates for children (we don't have any kids)

so  I have question

is it ok to submit what we have or just submit only what we have with joint name

Hi,

You have great supporting evidence.  I don't think you need the affidavit of support from your sister for this process. You can ask your sister to write you an affidavit letter. instead. Since you guys have been living in a new place for 8 months now, better in you use this address instead of your sister. Anyways both of you are in the lease so that's great.  Bonus evidence you can add is about you guys having a baby soon.

P.S. trying following the 2019 May filers thread instead. this one is for 2018 so everyone is way ahead of you in the process.

Good luck!

Thank you very much for your reply,  LOL. I thought it was 2019 ..

The problem is that we moved to another state,  just 45 minutes away from my sister's house,  and it is temporary not permanent.

Hey, Not sure about that if you could submit that only or may be you can check with attorney as it's important thing, you can add may be affidavits,  recennt evidences if anything....Please take proper suggest and follow.. All the best.

How many days you have to reply?

Soooo.....

Came home to my wife all excited. She told me she had good news. Her ROC got approved. We didn't have an interview. She can't wait until she gets the 10 year card because we have a lot of vacation planned and she hates traveling with the extension letter.

Congrats to all those who have been approved over the last few days!!!

I received the approval letter today, now hopefully the turnaround for the new green card is pretty quick.

What has other ppls turnaround time been from getting the approval to getting the new card?????
