I have seen Vermont is the slowest processing center. 

True Vermont is slow but also almost as slow as the others. 

Almost everyone has been waiting +year now.

Our dates are very similar. Mine was received at CSC on 05/02/18 as well. I got the Biometrics waiver in late Feb and it's been radio silence since then - no transfer, no surprise new biometrics appointment (as some who had waivers earlier received subsequently), no nothing. Just checked my status, and it's status quo - "case received..." Your approval is good news!

I filed for N400 last week, and today my I-751 status online changed to "Case Was Transferred To Schedule An Interview" and then "Case Was Received At My Local Office". Has anyone had that happen to them? I can't figure out if this means I'll 100% have an interview, maybe the first status was just a standard system response when the case was moved because I filed the N400. We'll be traveling all summer and I don't want to have to fly back for the interview.

After I got informed that I'll have to go in for biometrics, today the new website changed my status for the very first time!

Unfortunately, I am now also getting an RFE on top of the biometrics. From what I've read here lately it sounds like I'll have to put together a whole new package, as I had sent over everything they usually request and more. So fingers crossed they are actually just asking for something simple 🤨

When you filed for N400 you have to have the interview and the test about history of USA. You don't just get passport in the mail like green card

I know, I'm not expecting to get citizenship without an interview :). The status change was for my ROC/I-751 application. So I'm trying to figure out if this means I'll definitely get a ROC interview scheduled over the summer.

How did you know you are getting an RFE? Did you get a letter in the mail or did the new website update reflect this? I hope it's something minor that they need!

Hi everybody...just an update:

 

Today I also received a Biometrics Appointment Letter after almost 3 months of receiving the reuse notification. It is dated 5/10/2019 and the appointment is for May 31 2019. I will try to do a walk in to see if that saves me a couple weeks on this eternal waiting.
