Ya thanks! I was at least expecting an interview or an RFE (Did not include W2s with 1040s) or something before approved. But I guess we sent an over abundance of proof that there wasn’t a question. 

 

I know people like to know if we did anything to speed it up but we did nothing.

Good to know! I am sure there are lots of others (including me) in the same boat, i.e., either no information about the case on the old USCIS case status website (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do) or no update beyond  the "case received" status on the new https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov website. 

 

It's good to know that your case saw positive movement. Hopefully, ours will as well!

Ya honestly it seems that those who had little to no movement past “case received NOA date” end up being approved without rfe or interview. Could be a fluke but it’s becoming a trend.

Do we receive any followup with a tracking number? Or does anyone have any idea how fast the green card will arrive?

If I remember correctly, the status should update saying the card has been mailed and should be there by X date. 

 

There -should- be a tracking number but I can’t remember for sure.

One website still only has biometrics collected. Only putting the EAC number to the Case Status gave us any indications that we were approved, at least until we received the NOA2. All it said was ''on April 25th card was mailed''. Today I checked and it says that they mailed it out yesterday lol.

 

I remember his old green card just showed up one day. Our postman is rural and not very responsible, so I'm trying to make sure it gets where it needs to go. Guess I'll see if Informed Delivery shows me anything in a few days.

Hello Everyone,

           My case was transferred to Potomiac center on March 25/2019 from VSC. I still have not heard anything. To me It looks like cases which were transferred to Potomac center were being approved in a month. Please correct me if I am wrong.

The new website says case received still but the old one says card in production and is showing when I sent a service request in for the 18 month official notice, so the old one for me is showing way more info than the new one ever has.

Mine was transferred to Potomac on march 7th from CSC. Still haven’t heard anything 👀 maybe that’s the case for VSC transfers but not for CSC😒

Congrats!!! 

 

Yup that sounds a lot like us too, case update doesn't show in the old website, and no movement beyond case received on the new website. Hoping to get surprised soon!

Info updated in case search last night and informed delivery provided me a tracking number. It'll be here tomorrow!

 

This morning I got the atypical automated USCIS email ''still looking at case and nothing to report at this time''

Hi guys.

I just received a letter saying i need to do biometrics.

It's frustrating because i got a waiver letter for biometrics last February and now they are saying i have to do it.

Have any of you gotten this letter?

Yes, this is becoming fairly common for Jan 2018 - June 2018 filers. 

If I had to guess I would say that back around Feb 22nd-27th, USCIS mass pushed thousands of cases to have Biometrics reuse letters. That's why all of us seemed to have gotten the letters are the same time. There were some appointment letters in there, but most of letters were reuse letters.

I am thinking they are now going back case by case and going through which ones actually need new Biometrics and which ones are good on the reuse.

But yes, overall there are a lot of filers recently that are saying they are getting appointment letters now after having reuse letters back in Febuary/Early March.
