hello guys , I'm new to VJ and very glad I have found this site! I'm about to send my wife petition for the removal and wanted to share all the paperwork or poof of my legitimate marriage with my lovely wife Mildred, we have been here happily since July 31st 2016 (Expires July 31st 2018). can I get any feedback or suggestion would be appreciated before I send my package, anybody can use it as reference.

  • Copy of my wife's Green Card Front and Back
  • Joint Checking account with transaction history since April 2017 till now
  • Joint Saving account with transaction history
  • Joint Capital One Credit Card account with transaction history (included pictures of both our cards)
  • Auto insurance policy showing both are name as covered (I provided several copy's of Bills sent out to us with both our name and address)
  • Joint Car title
  • Tax Return for year 2017 and Tax return Transcript (filed as married) (I cant provide 2016 tax return because i did not work until February 2017)
  • Lease Agreement for the apartment we are renting since April 2017, showing both our name (notarized)
  • Boost Mobil, account summary showing our family plan and both our names on the summary (Boost Mobil does not provide paper or electronic bills because its a prepaid company) so I figured to provide that and transaction history as well. :(
  • My life Insurance Policy showing Mildred as beneficiary
  • Mildred Life insurance policy showing me as beneficiary
  • Copy of my Drivers License and my wife's ID showing same address
  • Call log , showing daily communication with my wife
  • Chat log, showing my everyday morning text to my wife and my wife's morning text to me
  • Over 80 Pictures of us from family reunions, selfies and trip pictures
  • Travel itinerary to Denver, Houston and Los Angeles
  • 4 Affidavits of support letters stating our legit marriage

For utilities bills like water , electricity etc I didn't provide any because the apartment where we live Includes all utilities (it states it on the lease contract) the only thing I'm concerned about is that I cant provide health insurance proof for me or my wife of any kind because I work thru a staffing company and for affordability I did not get any health insurance for us , the good thing is that the company that I'm working for will hire me with full benefits and health insurance on July! do you guys think if that would be an issue or be worried about it?  thank you in advanced guys for your response or tips, wish luck and happy fast processing time for everybody lol ...

I personally think you have plenty of proof of co-habitation and co-mingling of finances. I don't think the lack of Boost Mobil bills is a big deal - the account summary should suffice. Good luck!

I wanted to post this here now before there are any issues. Please do not use google docs. I know it does seem easier but many members are not able to use google docs or just do not like having their information being sent off site. Please use this format on VJ to prevent any issues.

That’s a great relief to hear that! I was worried for a bit , thank you very much for the feedback and reply! Do you think that not showing medical insurance would be an issue ? Or taxes for 2016 (didn’t work until Feb 2017)

Medical insurance shouldn't be too bad, my husband have ours separate through work because it's cheaper, but they may ask for 2016 tax return. Even if you didn't work, your spouse still could have filed jointly, just with you as no income. At this point, there's no really going back for it, so I would send what you have.

My proof of relationship looked like this:

  • Joint Car loan for 2016 Nissan Rogue in both our names

  • Joint Car loan for 2016 Hyundai Accent in both of our names

  • Document showing we are each others  beneficiaries for our own 401Ks and stock plans

  • Documents showing we are each others beneficiary to life insurance plans

  • 2016 and 2017 tax returns filled jointly

  • Cable bill in his name to our home address

  • Electric bill in my name to our home address

  • Paystubs showing same home address

  • Apartment lease in both of our names for Feb2017-Feb2018 and Feb2018-Feb2019          (Going to see if they ask for June2016-Feb2017, since I never added him to our old apartments lease)

  • School registration showing that he is an emergency contact for my daughter

  • Car insurance in both of our names for both cars

  • Joint bank account where all of the money goes in both of our names (Sent statements from Dec 2015 when he got on the account prior to marriage, then Feb 2016. June16,Sept16,Dec16,Mar17,June17,Oct17,Dec17,Feb18)

  • Pictures of us on vacation, out with my daughter, family gatherings etc.

  • Hotel bill from vacations

My immigration journey

July 2009 - F1 student PhD program

AOS
June 2010 - married USC

August 2010 - sent I-130 and I-485

December 2010 - CGC received.
December 2010 - ex-husband got crazy
May 2011 - separated
November 2012 - divorced!!

I-751 waiver

October 13 - filed I-751 waiver by myself
November 28 - BIO & InfoPass to submit a divorce decree

December 2012 - CGC expires

May 3 2013 - RFE received, asked for a divorce decree (haha) and address clarification + more evidence

July 6 2013 - RFE mailed and received

September 2013 - InfoPass, passport stamped to extend my status

November 2013 - Finally an interview is scheduled
December 12 2013 - Interview. Approved without any questions, passport stamped. Same officer who did my initial interview (I was told "I saw it coming, don't give up on love" :) )

December 27 2013 - Card received, too bad I was overseas

January 2014 US entry, special screening, but admitted instantly once I got to speak to the officer. It's a standard procedure if no valid GC on hand.

July 2015 - MARRIED in Russia

N-400

October 2015 - N-400 sent

February 2016 - interview and test

March 2015: USC!

DCF for my husband

April 2016: InfoPass to file I-130 in Moscow, approved on the same day.

May 2016: DS-260 interview - AP for "dangerous" work field

July 2016: visa issued! 59 days in AP.

May 2018: filed I-751

June 2018: 18 months extension received

I traveled all over the world in the meantime, no problems with visas and entries, occasionally some explaining and more documents to haul around.

Sorry I didn’t mentioned this early ... but both of us didn’t work until Feb 2017! Do you guys think I should write a letter explaining the reason why I didn’t provide 2016 taxes or just send it out? Or cause issue :(

Your proof looks very good to me , it’s looks very similar to mine except the school registration and 401k

You could leave it out and see if they ask for it. All you need to do if write a statement saying that y’all did not work and did not make enough to be legally required to file taxes for 2016.

I second that. I imagine they weigh the totality of the proof you submit, so a reasonable, simple explanation should pass muster
