Check cashed- it’s still processing so I guess it was cashed yesterday (July 2nd), I’m out of town, won’t be able to tell the NOA date until when I return home on Thursday but I’m happy!!!!! 😃

Ok for anyone who resubmits:

1st mailed/submitted i751 packet May 15

Received May 17

Packet returned due to missing copy of GC June 16th

Resubmitted June 18th

Received June 20th

Check cashed July 3rd 

NOA received July 5th dated June 29th

 

Don’t know if this matters or not but on the envelope I sent, I included “i751 Resubmission”

Also, Can someone file N-400 before the 3 year period while I-751 still in progress?

My understanding is you can only file N-400 once you are eligible. The reason people have been having success (from what officer told us) is that since ROC/I-751 is so backed up, people are still waiting to hear back on ROC by the time they are eligible for N-400, so they file N-400 once eligible, and and it bumps the ROC so they basically do the ROC/N-400 in one meeting and it is done. This is what one officer told me.

Hubby just walked in to get his biometrics done today 7/6/2018, he said it was empty there... Hackensack NJ office.

Are they taking biometric appointment even if you go ahead of your scheduled date ?

I think so, that was what we did. And I read a lot of people on VJ had done it, early walk ins. 

 

My husband did explain to the manager that he was not able to take off from work on the scheduled date, and they took him in. Also I guess because they were like empty, not sure if they are going to allow it if you were to go to a busier service center.

one more question . What documents did he carry other than the bio metric appointment letter

He brought GC, NOA, driver license, passport; pretty much everything we had in terms of identifications. But they only needed appt letter and GC.

I went from my Biometrics appointment. 8am at the Borough Hall. I came 15 minutes later but I only spent like 30 minutes in all. 

 

I have a quick question. I think I lost my initial NOA of my application. I know I would need that paper to travel. 
What would be the recourse for this?

I’m a I-751June 2018 filer, (CSC, NOA date 07/03/2018)  looking for info, so sharing my post on this thread (have’t had response from June filers thread).

Thanks in advance for any helpful info!

HELP!! Suggestions/insight please!!  Happy we received NOA (18 months extension)  BUT it says “page 1 of 2” and page 2 is MISSING!!

—What the heck was on page 2??? 

AND... there was an extra page in the envelope,  a NOA for someone else’s I-130!!!

—Good grief, has this happened to anyone else?

—Did someone else end up with my page 2?? (Please send it LOL)

I’ll call USCIS tomorrow, ask for my page 2 & if should I send on the other persons’ NOA.
