Hello everybody. I (the petitioner) have a question:

 

In the form I-751 that we sent, in Part 1a,1b,1c ,  I used my marriage name (which at this point has never been legally changed). Our Marriage certificate shows my  maiden name which I typed in other names used section (2a,2b,2c).

Also my passport shows my Maiden Name.

 

My question is:

Would they issue my new GC with my Marriage Name?

or will I get an RFE requesting evidence for the Name Change (which we don't have)?

 

I need help trying to figure out If i will have to deal with an RFE and how to approach this in the future?

 I read another person comment that if we file both N-400 and I-751 together, it can delay the process as both applications are processed in different centers and then they have to request Hard copies of documents to validate. I am not sure which one is true?

 

Also, Can someone file N-400 before the 3 year period while I-751 still in progress?

Anonymous2018, you might get more responses if you post this as stand alone question rather than here in a progress reporting thread... just my two cents.
