Hey Guys! My I-751 has been accepted and my green card is being produced. I just received a letter notifying me of this today, my case was processed by the CSC, they received my original package at 5/

I also got the Feb waiver and then a biometrics appt letter.  Did my code 5 fingerprints done last week. Two days later got a "new card being produced' update. Good luck all.

I'm pretty sure we will receive an updated i-797, they say they will issue "NEW" forms to those whose case were pending as June 11 which means that all those from June 11 will receive the updated i-79

March 18th,2016: Delivered USCIS Chicago

March 23rd,2016: Received 3 text/email with receipt #

March 24th,2016: checks cashed

Didn't receive NOA hard copy receipts in mail(not a problem,if you receive text or email)

April 8th,2016: received bio metrics for i-485 and i-765

April 14th,2016: Early walk in for bio-metrics Appointment (actual date was 18th april)

May 2nd, 2016: Received RFE for Joint Sponsor

May24th, 2016: Sent RFE back to USCIS

May 27th,2016: RFE received by USCIS

June 3rd, 2016: Request to Expedite EAD

June 6th,2016: EAD Approved

June 15th,2016: EAD received in mail

June 15th, 2016: Case status changed for i-485( case is ready to schedule to schedule for a interview)

June 23rd, 2016: Interview is scheduled for August 1st,2016.

We got the 18 months extension letter! 2 pages... ugh, so many papers to carry around now to go overseas :-D

I didn't pay much attention to the NOA date, I assume it was June 11, but received on the 15th.  VSC.  We definitely plan to file N400 as soon as the window opens and hope for a joint interview.  Does anybody have a fresh data on traveling with extension letter? When I did it they would send me to a special room to wait an hour or more for a higher officer to spend 30 seconds on my expired GC and a letter and let me in. How is it now? 

My immigration journey

July 2009 - F1 student PhD program

AOS
June 2010 - married USC

August 2010 - sent I-130 and I-485

December 2010 - CGC received.
December 2010 - ex-husband got crazy
May 2011 - separated
November 2012 - divorced!!

I-751 waiver

October 13 - filed I-751 waiver by myself
November 28 - BIO & InfoPass to submit a divorce decree

December 2012 - CGC expires

May 3 2013 - RFE received, asked for a divorce decree (haha) and address clarification + more evidence

July 6 2013 - RFE mailed and received

September 2013 - InfoPass, passport stamped to extend my status

November 2013 - Finally an interview is scheduled
December 12 2013 - Interview. Approved without any questions, passport stamped. Same officer who did my initial interview (I was told "I saw it coming, don't give up on love" :) )

December 27 2013 - Card received, too bad I was overseas

January 2014 US entry, special screening, but admitted instantly once I got to speak to the officer. It's a standard procedure if no valid GC on hand.

July 2015 - MARRIED in Russia

N-400

October 2015 - N-400 sent

February 2016 - interview and test

March 2015: USC!

DCF for my husband

April 2016: InfoPass to file I-130 in Moscow, approved on the same day.

May 2016: DS-260 interview - AP for "dangerous" work field

July 2016: visa issued! 59 days in AP.

May 2018: filed I-751 

June 2018: 18 months extension received

I traveled all over the world in the meantime, no problems with visas and entries, occasionally some explaining and more documents to haul around.

I resubmitted mine on 6/18 (well mailed it on that date), expected to arrive La Niguel tomorrow 6/20. Wishing myself and others all the best of luck :)

Timeline:

June 7th- Interview

Result- Approved but missing original birth certificate

June 7th- Mailed original birth certificate

June 8th- Offsite facility received original birth certificate

June 13th- Consulate received original birth certificate

June 29th- Requested for passport to travel

July 8th- Received passport

July 8th- (didnt need passport anymore) mailed it back to consulate

July 9th- Offsite facility received passport

July 13th- Consulate received passport

July 14th- Sent emails to inquire about case, was told to give them an additional 8 weeks from JULY 13th to process my visa :ranting: , immediately involved Congressman AND our Attorney sent letters mid-july/end of august

August 9th- Issued

August 10th- Received tracking number at 2pm

August 11th- Received Passport at 11am(Markham, ON)/Crossed border. at 7pm (Pearson Airport Toronto)

August 16th- Went to Social Security office, was told my card was mailed out August 15th and I was able to jot the SSN down (needed for work)

Went to the DMV yesterday. It was a quick process to renew my driver's license. Only hiccup was the agent was not aware the 18 month extension exists. She somewhat insisted that she can only do 12months on my new license and I would have to come back after 12 months with the same notice to renew my license for another 6 months or maybe come back with the 10-year green card. Good thing I was able to convince her my 18-month extension is legit and made her check with her supervisor. lol. But all good! Got my driver's license valid for another 18 months and will be hoping for a fast ROC approval and also may file for N-400 once the window open. Good luck everyone! :)

Same questions as everyone if anyone has any insight:

  1. If us guys who missed the 18 month extension by a couple days will get it eventually.
  2. If we can get the i-551 stamp during the biometrics, and if it is necessary for leaving the country.

Guys, i am not if this is just me but its been a while since I received the NOA letter. However, i have not received any letter for biometrics yet. 

NOA dated - 05/29/2018

NOA received- 06/02/2018

Biometrics - ??/??/????

 

Its been 18 days since I received the NOA letter. Should i call USCIS and check with them?

That is good news, we are going to do the same thing in two months, hope to get a new 18 months extension letter :whistle:
