Hey Guys! My I-751 has been accepted and my green card is being produced. I just received a letter notifying me of this today, my case was processed by the CSC, they received my original package at 5/

I also got the Feb waiver and then a biometrics appt letter.  Did my code 5 fingerprints done last week. Two days later got a "new card being produced' update. Good luck all.

I'm pretty sure we will receive an updated i-797, they say they will issue "NEW" forms to those whose case were pending as June 11 which means that all those from June 11 will receive the updated i-79

Hi there, 

If I'm understanding your first question correctly, both you and your spouse need to date and sign the I-751. It's towards the last pages of the application. 

For your second question, send in one check for both application form and biometrics. Make sure to make check payable to U.S Department of Homeland Security.

If this is only about the cover sheet then no one NEEDS to sign it. Everyones cover sheet is different and not required by the I-751 instructions, it's basically just an index of your package and a short explanation of why you're sending it.

Different question: in one of the other months filers forum I read that someone was told it would be better for them to file for naturalization instead of lifting of conditions (since as a married person you can already file after 3 years instead of 5), as this is faster at the moment. However, with the 3 year wait before filing for naturalization, we would obviously be in the process for the I-751.

 

Can we send in an application for naturalization while being in the process for the I-751?

Hi Everyone!

 

I'm soooo happy I found a thread for this! It always feels nice to communicate with people in the same boat as us. My husband's 90 day window opens on the 24th of this month and we just had a baby a little over a month ago so my hands are full with trying to get everything together and being first time parents lol I've heard that this is taking longer then usual now, hoping for things to speed up for all of us. We have been eligible since May 5th & getting our papers mailed hopefully today. I enjoy being able to compare others timelines with ours. We are sending ours to CSC.
