Hey Guys! My I-751 has been accepted and my green card is being produced. I just received a letter notifying me of this today, my case was processed by the CSC, they received my original package at 5/

I also got the Feb waiver and then a biometrics appt letter.  Did my code 5 fingerprints done last week. Two days later got a "new card being produced' update. Good luck all.

I'm pretty sure we will receive an updated i-797, they say they will issue "NEW" forms to those whose case were pending as June 11 which means that all those from June 11 will receive the updated i-79

I would not expect an NOA for a while. With the current backlog and study of the April filers thread, they are still working on mid-late April for VSC, though there are also some stragglers from earlier. If you've filed with CSC though, the backlog is even worse. Nothing is moving.. some saying up to a 60-90 day wait.

Looks almost like CSC stopped cashing checks around mid April and after that nothing happened

Adding my name to the VSC list.

I'm kinda nervous because I'm supposed to leave the country and travel for a couple of months (dissertation research) in late June. I'll be cutting it really close. My plan is to wait for the NOA, and call/make an infopass and ask them to let me do the biometrics before I've gotten my biometrics notice/appointment time. I have proof of travel and everything. Has anyone heard or an applicant doing that before? Wish they would just waive our biometrics like they're doing with many CSC applicants...

Sent my I751 on 17th May through priority mail and sign on delivery. It was signed for on 18th May. My GC expires on 26th May. 

 

I am super nervous as my employer just informed me that if I don't get a GC extension by 26th, I will be terminated since I won't be authorized to work.

Your employer may need to talk to his/her HR Legal team. From everything that we've seen, advice from immigration lawyers are saying that you can continue to work as long as you've mailed in your papers because once you get your NOA, it will show the date they received it.

You also won't have proof of work authorization, but in the system it should show you as able to work. You have legal permanent status until USCIS revokes that status, which doesn't happen on Green Card expiration, since they allow time for the 751's to process. It's not something that's immediate.

Almost like when you get insurance on say the 13th of the month, most plans will have covered you from the 1st of the month.



With that said, I apologize, but you most definitely will not have your NOA until early July. It is taking 30-60 days just to get the NOA's done from the time they receive it.

How long does it take for UCSIC to cash check?

Mine was delivered on 5/4, with proof of delivery.

It's now 5/21 and check has still not been cashed.

There is a severe backlog. I don't know which service center you filed at - but CSC has up to a 90 day delay. VSC is still on April. I would expect many more weeks yet.

I sent mine to Vermont. 

Thanks for the update, looks like it's just a waiting game at this moment. 

 

Mine expires on June 30th. What should happen if I still haven't received my NOA notice by then?

VSC seems to be cashing checks in 24-30 days. If that holds up, you'd receive the letter before it expires. Ours was delivered to VSC 5/3 and need the letter for July travel, so let's hope together that we get them soon!
