I'm officially done reading the news, maybe forever.  Last week a baby died from abuse south of here and today they found a baby dead in a field in ND after the mother went on a 4 day bender and couldn't remember where she left him.  :(  Drug addicts should not be allowed to care for children.

Bathroom is gutted, just the one small accident with the electric saw and my leg.

Tomorrow hopefully we'll get the shower in, hopefully.

We've been playing with making bespoke epoxy counters and it's surprisingly not that difficult so we'll have some funky floors and counter tops 😁

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

Oh boy. Well, if you are posting, I guess you are breathing ;)

What sort of counters?

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Breathing just great, sliced a chunk out of my leg (I'm a clumsy lump!)

Counters as in the vanity in the bathroom and worktops in the kitchen type of thing?

We are trying to be cost effective as we don't plan on being here for too many years so don't want to buy granite or anything expensive. This is just plywood coated in expoxy and whatever pattern/image you want. It's solid, waterproof, durable, unique and best of all cheap lol

Sheesh. Glad it wasn't worse!

Okay, I think I know what you mean. I saw counter makeover things on Amazon I was looking at. Sort of an epoxy thing and you add various colored flakes to it and then seal it. I might do that, once I get the outside done.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Sounds like it, or you can put pictures on and clear expoxy them, the possibilities are endless and it's quite good fun 😁

I might have a go at that. The counters here are okay, but I hate the sort of brownish tan color. The sure aren't granite :D

I know a joke about a saw...

There was a carpenter working on the 5th story of a construction sight. He realized he left his saw on the ground floor. He looks down the side and saw his helper, he yells "I need my saw!". His helper couldn't hear him over the noisy jack hammers. So the carpenter makes a sawing motion with his hand.

Upon seeing this, the helper makes the "👌 ok" with his hand, then drops his pants and starts to masturbate...

When the helper finally makes it up with the saw, the carpenter asked him, "I told you I needed my saw, wt f were you doing?"

The helper said, I know, and I said, "OK, I'm coming!"....

Depends entirely on whether the Chinese has ingested garlic or jalapeños before you eat him, make the logical connection D ma'am.
