The correct petition name is I-Many, easier for you QA ma'am.

But we give you a "Z" for effort (the Polish grade of our "A") for your P-math attempts, si QA ma'am.

May your I-Many petition be processed in Many weeks vs. Many weeks, our fervent wish QA ma'am.

So many good news in only 1 day!

A Z in P-Math and an approved I-Many...

The queen is quite amused here!

Thank you, and goodbye, she has to work

It must be Many a.m. in Austria, cipher we man.

And don't queens delegate all their work, :bonk: QA ma'am?

And update your timeline, si QA ma'am.

In other gripping news, we just had a brief-yet-energetic game of Fuzzy Ball with cat, appeased miu man.

Quiet 4th here. I had the dog out and in well before dark, thundercoat ready, all set up for doggie downers, and nothing. There were about half a dozen around 2130, but way off in the distance. Miss dog slept right through those.

Far change form where we were. I suppose people living in the country club area of where we were had more money to burn. We had over ten days of fireworks there last year. One night here, close by, for 20 minutes, a few last night about half a mile away, and that was it.

Husband has a birthday today. Oh, the excitement of being a pensioner. Off to town for a new drivers license, and to Sonic for a root beer float. We do live it up ;)

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Last year here in Santa Fe, they moved the city's fireworks display to a park that abuts against our neighborhood. Last year we were out of town but last night we invited over a couple of friends and climbed out onto our flat rooftop to which we have very easy access. Sure enough, it was a great place to view the show. La Colombiana held the pooch through the show and he seemed to come out of it relatively unscathed.

Happy birthday to your hubby :)

Fireworks we're like bombs going off here last night :(

Our little piece of mountain has become a get away destination for rich folk from New York and they must've brought industrial fireworks with them, Oscar has never been worried in the past and gun fire is common here but he was last night. We are making plans to move when redneck retires

I hope he is ok :( Where do you think you'll go, away from the maddening crowd?

When I was a kid, so really quite long ago, our little hamlet was invaded every year. People form the cities, mainly Trona (Toronto). We apparently lived year-round in cottage country, as they called it. They'd bowl up every year, loud, irritating, bringing their racket and mess with them. My Grandmother used to call them Summer Complaint. It's what you get from eating too many green apples :D Fall was glorious because they'd be gone.

There used to be a lot of fish in the lake, and we would be down there from morning til night. But, with cottages comes issues, like the discharge of raw sewage into the lake all along the cottage side. Money talks, it seems.

The lake is dead now, no more fish or loons, and nobody swims there anymore.  Progress eh?

I drive through that area in 2000. I was taking my mum to see her Sister, back in the days when they still knew each other. Hardly looked like the same place. A few years later, I could see on google maps our house was gone. Seems the Firehall bought it, and burned it down as an exercise.

I always said I would build a house dead center of 50 acres, and surround the place with a fence topped with barbed wire and broken glass.  People.

Somewhere where we can buy a chunk of land and put a house in the middle away from the masses. Might not go as far as your fence and broken glass though 😂

It's got much busier here in the short time I've been here, tourism used to be bad in the fall but it's year round now. Locals can't afford to buy or rent here anymore it's crazy :(

Seems to be the way things are going these days.  Nobody can build close to us, sot hat's one thing. While the Ozarks may be a tourist type area, I don't think as we are out in the back of beyond they will trouble us much.  Quite prepared to move on if it gets overrun.  The Husband fancies Wyoming

I had about 40 bucks worth of fireworks from Wal-Mart. The kids had a blast! Like 8 kids...

Very age appropriate fireworks.

Yes, it's illegal in NYC to play with fireworks, but nobody gives a ###= lol.

Some neighbors down the street had their own Macy's fireworks show...

Wyoming is cold in the winter. It's pretty much windy year round across the entire state. The largest towns, Cheyenne and Casper, don't really offer much in regards to culture and the remaining towns are just small town culture. A large majority of the population is very conservative in politics, and the remaining sliver is divided up btwn Libertarians and Democrats. There's really only one university of any size or reputation, UW in Laramie, so it's not really known as an academic or research hotbed. Lots of ranchers and faux-ranchers. It's 92% white and the largest minority are American Indians who you won't see much of unless you wander onto reservations. You can probably retire there for cheap unless you fancy a big ranch.

All of the above pertains to all of Wyoming except Jackson Hole which is a whole different animal.

Bears repeating, it's windy all the time.

I found an illegal firework in my front yard this morning.  (Fire ban in most of CO and that includes fireworks....)

Thankfully my pets dont seem to care about thunder storms or fireworks.
