I figured that's since not too many people coming to my BBQ,  I tell the nanny to see if her family wants to come eat. After she called her daughter. 

She starts calling her brother, sister, inviting them and their families....

I'm like, wait....stop, please....

It's not your party.

The neighbors over the road had some fireworks last night. The local Fire Department next door to then were there, doors open, ready to roll. They may do that again tonight,  it is pretty dry.

The dog didn't totally freak out,  which has always been her reaction to loud noises. We will see how she goes tonight.

SHe has been rooting around near the fence and next to the new shed we put up. Couldn't work out why, but I did find the answer. There was a fairly good sized box turtle burrowing next to the fence. I carried him out of the yard and nearer the pond. No idea how he came into the yard at all. Must walk the fence line and see if there is a gap.

We are very happy with and proud of ourself for having mow-lawned yesterday, si man.

Rained solidly from last night through most of July Many'th afternoon, build an Ark man.

We didn't leave the casa, no man.

Mrs. T-B. took Mama-Mrs.-T-B. out shopping twice, intrepid senior she man.

 

Later, Mrs T-B., Mama-Mrs.-T-B., & Mini-B. went to see fireworks, one local presentation not out-rained man.

They were gone a long time, nap-without-cat we man.

They returned, exhausted & smelly, but ebullient, si she/senior she/wee man.

 

We asked Mrs. T-B. how to say "fireworks" in Spanish, ask we she man.

She thought and said, "luces pyrotecnicas," unsure she man.

If she doesn't know, then how could she have told Mama-Mrs.-T-B. where they were going, huh man?

After a busy azzzz week(here we don‘t celebrate the independence on the many’th day in July) I can finally tell you ow,

that I, Queen of Austria, QA got approved by USCIS to enter the next step towards entering the Land of the independence!

After the rain, we invited Mini-B. for a stroll down the street, we stroll wee man.

We pointed out the features of after-rain, just like when he was only Many years old man.

He remembered that, remember wee man.

"Daddy, do you remember when we dropped grass in the curbside stream?  Let's do that again," quoth wee man.

We watched grass float away, watch we & wee man.

We watched acorn tops float away, watch we & wee man.

'Twas a grand time, just like first time man.

And we and wee man are already reminiscing about "old times," auld lang syne man.

 

Cat T-B. not particularly perturbed by fireworks noise, but not able to sleep either, observe we of miu man.

Cat has dropped her fuzzy ball and a wrapper at our chairside, eager miu man.

Better go play, Daddy play with miu man.

I didn‘t think it would take as long for Queens as it does for regular people, but after many months(see what I did there?!), they decided to approve our I1many petition and will now hopefully be send to the NVC for a quicker processing there since I am married 🙄😂
