I can't believe it will finally happen. After only 1 year and 7 months! *sarcasm* 

then the joys of removing conditions will come. But honestly, spending 4 more months away would be a much bigger torture. It is what it is. I understand why the conditions exist, just a shame that it hurts real marriages in the process making it harder/more expensive and time-consuming, while inadvertently letting sham ones in with a 10-year green card. Sigh. It is what it is.

My husband already rented the house we are going to live in, and I had to pay half of  2 months worth upfront and out of my savings, he can't afford it on his own. 

I am almost making no money here. We've been in a long distance relationship for two years, and on top of that, I haven't seen him in over six months.

 

 

So no, not waiting  literally can't afford to.
