09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Oh yes! That's the only thing I'm happy for being born in the 70's :D

And the 50's. None of that nonsense, which for me is probably a good thing. :D

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Why out of 6 kids 1 has to be a total booger??

I had one day with no headache. Today it's back not as bad but still back. The Dr;s office needs to hurry up.

I think I missed the bit, and cannot find it either, on what they are doing for you? Whatever it is, I hope it works!

I'm beginning to wonder...

But I do run 2 central air units with 2 air handlers, 3 split system ACs, 4 full size refrigerators, and 1 chest freezer....

We usually have a month or two at or above 1200 in the summer and that was before we got the chest freezer.

It's weird theirs is so much lower. Do they live in the dark, no AC, no tv's no PC's or what?

I had to go look at what our bill. We used 1764 for last month. So I guess yours is about right. You have the Nanny at home with the Turtle so lights TV and what not are running too.

We used 478 last month. Not bad, we do have an air conditioner, a fan that runs most of the time, the O2 concentrator. No TV, but three pc's always on. Only the one fridge. We are only 758 sq feet though.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Wasteful Trophie and stretch!

Hey we do pretty good. I keep the lights off, ceiling fans going,  the curtains shut when the sun is shinning on that side. We do have at least one TV on almost at all times of the day.  3 computers on almost 24/7. Then the AC unit, I have 2 big fridges, and bit upright freezer, my pool pump going 24/7.  :P

Oh and two fans in my chicken coop for the girls.

I think the xbox/TV is only off a couple of hours a day - then there are the dehumidifiers and sump pumps that go around the clock.  We keep the house pretty cold with the A/C and it does cool more than 2000 sq ft.    The kids refuse to turn the lights off during the day and on the list of fights I'm willing to have with them, it is a low priority.

We have gas for the water heater, furnace, and oven... but our dryer is electric and I think that must be a huge user especially with how many loads we do.  The other ones that people don't often think of are our electric kettle and the bread machine.  Our electric bills definitely went up when I started making bread in that versus the oven.
