But damn did that surgery did feel like a kick in the nuts for quite literally 2 weeks afterwards.

From what I hear, the reversal surgery is way more painful.

My thuggy fisherman friends are calling me up, "we're killing the fing bass, where the f are ya?"

Now this guy calling, he's a pure bred sports fisherman. Throws back every single fish caught on his boat...

I'm like, "save me a ####### fish you ###holes!"

He's like, "F you, go catch your own fish!"

Me, "you fing better save me a fing fish, I can't make it to go out"

This it's a famous orthopedic surgeon with this sailor mouth btw...

I hope your Marine gets to be doing better.

Unlikely at this stage. The best we can hope for here is to find some way to maintain an even strain. I've had an email from the TX Doc in regard to the echo.  He says the study supports his BP as the primary problem which will be very tricky to manage given his dysreflexia.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Another 45 minutes in the storm shelter, aka the Anderson. It rained so hard here I was soaked before I got 10 feet away from the door. Himself went ahead with the bag, and I went after with the dog. She won't walk down the steps, so has to be carried. In fact, she dug her heels in and kept trying to u-turn back to the house.

Calm now, round two later on today.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Thanks. We kind of take the view that it is what it is. We aren't all doom and gloom here though. So far he has proved to be very hard to kill. Long may he wave :D
