I'm over it.

That makes me feel better because last year I spent about $2500 on dentist visits for my kids and my wife.

 

Luckily I paid off pretty much a loan, 2 credit cards,  and a car note this year so far. That leaves me we a car loan that is about $16k and a small loan of $900 that I am paying on right now. I just keep the personal loan around because of credit report purposes even though I have money in the bank right now to pay it off completely.

 It had been a few years since we had any work done, so we needed the full work up, panaromas, etc.  Plus, I had a root canal done about 6 years ago that needed a crown.  I probably wouldn't have bothered if I knew I was going to need another one elsewhere.

 

My daughter was about $350 for her cleaning, x-rays, and sealants.  The Dane and I are the expensive ones, although the last 2 years with 4k on braces, she's had her fair share.

 

I'd kill for single payer dental care.

My wife was the expensive one, like I said before she never really went to the dentist before she moved to the USA. So she had a lot of work that needed to be done.

OMG a hell of a lot cheaper if we did it there. But for everyday people it's cheaper to pull the teeth than any kind of actual work. We are waiting on my wife's passport before we make a trip back there.
