How are you lifting wrong?????

I have tried to take my wife to the gym with me and it leads literally no where. She thinks her idea of weight loss is just cutting back on what she's eating, she has lost weight so that's good but not fast enough for her.

He says I was doing my lying triceps wrong.  I wasn't wrong.

What exact exercise were you doing and how fast/slow were you doing them?

Lying tricep extensions.(skullcrushers)  I do them with a 30lb barbell. 3x8-10  Arms straight then bend to just behind my head and back up. I do it at a normal speed.  They're certainly not fast and I know my triceps are toasted after.

I am very good with my technique.  I've taken PT classes as it was an occupation I have thought about pursuing.  I have often helped him with his form though, but never unsolicited.

Ahhh ok. Those are good but you should try them sitting up instead because to me I get a better burn from it.

I did get alittle ticket off today while at the gym. I have started going to this small bodybuilding gym close to my house last week, so in other words I am rather new there.
I was working on a exercise (bent over rows with barbell)  on Wednesday with a specialty barbell that they have there. While I was doing it one of the 45lb weights fell off the bar when it was literally a foot off the bar. At the time I was rather embarrassed because I have never had that happen to me before. So I go in today and one of the trainers(there's only 2) working there came up to me when it's only myself, her, and client there. She was like "Hey if you are using a barbell can you put a clip on it please? We don't want a accident to happen".

Needless to say I was embarrassed and pissed off at the same time because it was my fault. I told her that it was the first time that has ever happened to me in the gym and that I apologize for it. So I went about my workout pissed AF so I sped through it and got it done in less than an hour with clips on the barbells. I will do this for a few weeks and then go back to not doing it.

I pretty much always use clips unless I'm benching alone.  I need weights to fall off if I fail.

I prefer the lying triceps because I'm better about keeping my elbows in.  But this is week 8 of my regimen. So I deload next week and the week after I trade up my ancillary exercises.

When I lived in New Hampshire we used to have these signs and I think we desperately need them in the ND/MN area.  Someone hit a moose last night, completely totaled their car, and they are lucky they are still breathing.

The deer are bad enough as it is - you hit one of those going 60+ on a rural road and you might die.  A moose?  You might live, if you're lucky.

Only in ND/MN/Canadia would anyone be concerned about these, sigh man.

One should really be focused on hittin' armadillers, Texas man.

Regardless, we thank you for your efforts toward public safety, si purple-rubia Nola-B. ma'am.

I had a buddy of mine who hit a deer on his way back to base one time coming back from a long weekend. He really didn't stop for long because our unit at the time was asses and would take it out on him if he was late too long, so he kept driving. He drove from WV down to Camp Lejeune NC with his car all messed up body wise but mechanical ok. When he got to base and came to work we examined his car in detail. What was funny is that he still had parts(bits and pieces) of the deer still attached to his car in some places.

I have always heard that Moose are animals you don't want to mess with or hit due to their bone structure.
