Sunday report, see man:

 

Was pre-awakened by an offspring who is yet too young to understand the value of maximal sleep, sigh man.

Supervised Mrs. T-B.'s supervision of Plumbing Mexicans, finish job reclaim kitchen man.

 

Only the minimum Many (2+2) laundry loads, boon man.

Finished all but one early, because of street BBQ at Many (2+2) p.m., ingest yearly we man.

 

BBQ held in sultry, breezeless, Many-degree temperature, sweat we man.

At BBQ, ingested Many (2+2) huge gut-bombs plus slice of apple pie, ingest we man.

Then, despite overwhelming urge to nap, decided to mow lawn, in need of same man.

 

Mowed entire lawn, only partially in shadow man.

Barely made it upstairs, drag we man.

 

Gassed the Mrs.-T.-B.-mobile, less than Many oz. in tank man.

Gassed gas-cans for lawnmower, all Many (2+1) of them man.

Went to Aldi Foods, stock up man.

Took Heap Strong medicine at bedtime, ouch man.

Monday report, see man:

 

Awoke in semi-great bodily pain, ouch man.

Ended up doing Many (2+1) -- yes, Many (2+1) -- extra laundry loads, staggering number of fouled towels/kitchen rags man.

 

Went with Mrs. T-B. to Home Despot, return unused supplies man.

Got refunds for $Many00 on one credit card, $Many00 on another, plus a small store credit, $i man.

Returns dude was intelligent and involved Mini-B. in the process, bored wee man.

 

Loaded lawnmower to take to rental casa, much-needed man.

R-casa's lawn subdued in Many-degree heat, could not have waited another day man.

Returned to find casa full of Ecu-ettes, hen-party man.

Introduced ourself as gringo mojado y guapo*, forthcoming we man.

 

*sweaty and handsome gringo, si man

 

Pint-sized Ecu-ettes raved over our towering presence, wouldn't take much to tower man.

Somehow made it upstairs, blew nose, and admired output of grass, inhaled much man.

 

Actually got nap, first in 2 days of a holiday weekend something's wrong here man.

Awoke to find that Mrs. T-B. had emptied Many boxes' contents into new cabinets, industrious she man.

Cut down all Many boxes, trash/recycle day tomorrow man.

Finished other chores, far too late for them man.

 

Total laundry loads for weekend:  2 Sat. + Many Sun. + Many Mon. = Many (2x2x2+1), record man.

I, not the Dane, repainted our living room this weekend. Valspar has great coverage, I could have gotten away with one coat to cover my super dark green walls with the new light color, but did two for perfection. I also repainted the trim and finally got around to the bare wood shelves.  They were another project half done years ago. They were in fact on my list of things I wanted done before baby #3 came, but he’ll be 4 months old next week and I probably would have waited another 2 years.

I like Valspar paint I do. We bought some rocking chairs that needed some TLC and we spray painted them white to make them look really good to sit in front of the house. My wife wanted to go cheap on the paint but I had to tell her that you get what you pay for in regards to stuff like that. After about 5 cans of Valspar paint with multiple coats the chairs look great and we love sitting in them watching the wildlings play in the front yard and at the culdesac.
