I wish I'd listened to my gut and got insurance.  I pay a reduced price here but still pay.  The owner did the surgery so if anyone can knock off prices, he can.

Nero is recovering well atm.  Gonna be 3 weeks before the sutures can come out though.

I always had insurance for my dogs in the UK, unfortunately at nearly 8 when we moved here Oscar was too old to make it financially viable. We had a few big claims and for one of our dogs his meds (covered by insurance) cost more than the premium. Definitely worth every penny, the peace of mind it gave was worth it on it's own!

Glad he's out and doing ok, good luck for the next few weeks, getting a dog to leave stitches alone is a challenge...

I'm telling you guys, some old brick chimneys are structural. Often they add lateral stability to a house in high wind.

And, poor A-58. I hope he's ok.

And, poor Trophie.

Poor hillbilly, etc...

Not in our case. It was rooting our roof remember and pulling away from the house. The rot all over when we tore it down was ridiculous.

Glad he's done. Hopefully heals up nice and fast.

I would have liked it better if it was a wood stove. We don't really need one here though.

Stepdaughter graduates high school this year, as that’s another ‘big day’ when she’ll miss her moms presence more than usual I thought it would be nice to get a pretty frame and put her moms graduation photo and stepdaughters graduation photo in.

Stepdaughter had her formal graduation photo done at school this week, the company that took them tell me that yes they are uploaded and I can order a sneaky early print but can’t agree which department can get me one, 50 mins on the phone so far...

Why can't you get a human being on the phone anymore when calling companies?  I don't want to speak to a machine, I want to converse with a human.  I just got a text that my package is undeliverable " due to bad address".  So naturally, I wanted to call the Postal " Service" to find out what's up and correct the address (which I'm sure is not wrong to begin with).

I did tracking and put in the number and it gave me the latest status (exactly what the text message said), so I tried pressing 1 or saying "agent", but every time you do that it just repeats the same status.

Just press 0, don't enter any tracking number or make any other option selections. 0 is generally the shortcut to a real live human (I used to manage a contact center) :)

The only other trick I know is to keep pressing the #

I hate it when I get automated call systems that never give a real person to talk to

It just keeps repeating the options and after about 5 times, it says " Is there anything else that I can help you with?"   And if you don't respond, it says " Goodbye and hangs up".  If you do respond, it starts the options all over again.  LOL
