Our local Legion got a flag collection box, so I finally got rid of one of the casket flags sitting around my house.  

 

I'm still kind of pissed I didn't get my dad's, but only his father's and grandfather's.  I decided to keep the 48 star one of his grandfather's.  He was originally from Minnesota and I think maybe we will hang it outside for Memorial Day this year.

We had rain today and a thunderstorm that sent the siding crew home early. I wasn't unhappy, as I got in a nap, and the dog was happy because she wasn't having to defend the place from all borders. They will be back at 0700.  They hope to have the place done in a week and a half, give or take, but the forecast for the week looks less hopeful.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Appliance Salvadoreño worked all day Wednesday, assiduous AS he man.

He tiled relevant sub-appliance areas of the kitchen floor, tile he man.

He painted relevant areas of the kitchen walls, paint he man.

He re-installed the existing microwave, re-install he man.

He installed the brand-new Whirlpool oven* & Amana warshdisher, install & install he man.

 

*which, as we remember, was purchased from Lowe's for just over half-price, thrifty we man

 

We have not yet tried out the warshdisher, still using mostly disposable plates/dinnerware man.

Microwave works and oven works, work they man.

 

On Sunday, AS returns to install sink, re-install fridge, and install electric flat cooktop, install/re-install he man.

We will probably also have him install new warshdisher at the r-casa, finish upgrades there man.

He is somewhat on the expensive side but is very capable and was available now, tradeoff man.

Stuff is slowly returning to normal, about time man.

My husband told me I'm a Bad Butt (other word not permitted) so anything you say doesnt count.  

 

I think he was trying to apologize for seemingly (actually) taking advantage of my good nature.  I do a lot for him but so it's nice that he remembers that I do it for him, as my husband, and not everyone gets that treatment.

I have to laugh because soooo many people are like Omg I NEED citizenship right now! But here I am, within the 90 day window of my 5 year availability and have no plans on filing.  Maybe with the next president....
