We did not have a nap this eve, no zzz for we man.

 

We went straight from the POTS office to a dollar store that was closing out, Many% off man.

To wit, specifically, everything that was a dollar (and it all was) was a dime, irresistible man.

 

The place was far away and rather busy, travel we man.

There was little if any air conditioning, sweat we in our fancy POTS-office clothes man.

One cash register, and we had to stand in line for >half an hour, parboiled we man.

However, it was very much worth it, cheap we man.

 

We spent (including tax) $Many-&-a-half, $[2+2+1] + a half man.

We shall not run out of cocktail napkins, party plates, or party cups for some time, no man.

We also got Many (2x2x2+2+1) books for Mini-B., read we with wee man.

 

Mrs. T-B. will go aysheep when she sees the purchases neatly piled on the kitchen counter, aysheep she man.

We will reply that the quickest way to up-clean is to start using the purchases, utilize she man.

 

We are very proud of ourself, cheap gringo we man.

Only 1 GS and 2 nearby ESs advertised for this weekend, weird man.

You know, I discovered today that my car has "radar cruise control", and I love it!

You set the speed, and you set the minimum distance between you and the car in front of you, and voila! You won't hit it. It adjusts speed by itself. And it kinda won't let you leave your lane...

But its kinda boring, so you fall asleep. But then it senses that you're falling asleep, and the steering wheel will vibrate violently to wake you up...provided that you actually have at least 1 hand on the wheel...but there's also an audio caution, provided that you're not in a deep sleep.

So...its kinda useless...

 

That reminds me of this joke...

When it's time for me to go, I wanna go like my grandfather, peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming, like the passengers in his car...

It would take just as long to get in from somewhere in the suburbs, well, I mean, Queens is technically the suburbs.  I google mapped that for you Asia and it is takes about 1h 15 minutes to get to Grand Central using public transport.

 

You could pick a random town in Connecticut or New York on the train line and be there sooner.  I'm pretty familiar with the Harlem and New Haven (and its continuation on the Shoreline) lines, if you have any questions.

When I was in high school, I'd take the train from Bay Ridge to long Island City to go work for 4 bucks an hour at a potato chip factory. It'd take me like 3.5 hours round trip just to make 20 bucks...

Then later on, I found a better job across the street. worked for a plastic factory that made burger king toys, exacto knives, and playtex bra snaps. 5 bucks an hour lol...

Serendipitously, we found a nearly full package of chocolate-cheap cookies from Dollar General, whee man.
