At skool, Mini-B. happily identified two little holdover colleagues from last year's grade, sociable wee man.

There is also a little colleaguette, unsure whether it's the little rubia man.

Last night, like almost all nights, Mrs. T-B. awoke like a shot out of a dead, snoring sleep to check on Mini-B., no reason apparent to us man.

 

Of note, Mini-B. dreams in Spanish, commentary overheard routinely by us man.

After many, many weeks of vacation my work place used my “being on call” as best as they could! Which means they called me even before I was on call just to make sure I am prepared and available...and so here we are now....back at work..and also..back at this lovely thread... 

 

also...after only many weeks (2+1) NVC gave us a case number so we can definitely get that process going again...yay!

After doing some googling, I see that in 2015, Minnesota got rid of notarizing affidavits.  They must not have changed the instruction packet to reflect that.

 

I'm dropping them off tomorrow, so we'll see if they take them.

 

I dunno what kinda asinine notary you have in MN. I have a stamp that creates a space for a signature. It's called a "Jurat stamp". Lookie like this.....

A second stamp has my info and  license#

I never charge for notarizing, but in NY, I think you get 5 bucks for a Jurat? and 2 bucks for notary. 7 bucks. You get a couple of these, it's lunch money...

And over here, fooks lined up all day long at notaries.

I have stopped by and read from time to time but today I have Jury Duty and feel like I will be passing the time (fingers crossed not being called on a Jury) but that is 50/50

chance where I live. 

 

5th time being called and had to sit on 2 cases. Hopefully it won’t be 3 today.

You have to learn how to answer questions.  Hubs was asked once, if the law said someone was guilty could you deliver a guilty verdict, he said no, it depends on a totality of circumstances.  Dismissed and never called again. Lmao

Haha I have become a little better at answering those questions. I live inBaltimore city. There are too many crimes to never get called again 🤦‍♀️. But I have become better at saying I work with gun shoot and other victims of violence and I am biased (but even that backfires sometimes 🤷‍♀️) unforunately everyone in Baltimore knows how the jury system works so it is who has the least excuses. Haha. 

 

The officer came in jokingly today and said there will be a cases for all of us so don’t get to comfy.
