The Walmart pickup went ok, except some of the fresh stuff.  Pineapple was rotten, strawberries need to be cooked today.   Sigh.

 

Maybe I'll make strawberry rhubarb crisp or something.

I've watched them collect food for the pickup. I never really saw them take more then a second looking at the produce. I wouldn't get produce with pick up.

I hope it goes well.

 

Most of the stuff they did fine on, produce-wise.  Walmart, at least here, doesn't usually have the best stuff.

Oldest child is really hitting the growth spurts hard.  I reckon she'll be 5' by year end and my height in the next two years.

 

The Troll and I are having some general difficulties, as witnessed in this conversation:

It's the only state with a single-syllable name, trivia man.

We saw 2 cars with Maine plates down here within the last month or so, first time in many moons man.

General Observation, see man and see we man:

 

The new Oklahoma license plates are quite attractive in appearance, conclude we man.

Our favorite has always been South Carolina's, with the palmetto tree in the background man.

Kansas or somewhere has the wheat background, corny but nice man.

 

Missouri and Louisiana have italicized their state names, bad idea man.

Very ugliest are Alaska and (of course) Nueva York, orange with whatever dark lettering yuck man.

 

In Poland, the license plates are installed backwards, standard procedure oj tak.
