Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

It's about time SIL got to experience the joy of full time caring for her, bet she cracks under the pressure and comes crawling for your help...

She can't crawl to me for help, she doesn't know where I am. No phone numbers, no email address, no physical address. MIL told everyone we were going to Fayetteville, and  I saw no reason to correct that. I would be willing to make book MIL will end up fairly promptly in Shady Pines.

And as if just the regular three-ringed circus of having MIL living in your house isn't enough, wait! There's more!

Although they live in a pretty fancy lakeside house, got all the goodies, no near neighbors, quite the place, in fact, the MIL has always referred to it as gorgeous, they are tearing it down. Starting next month. They are building on the same site, SIL's 'dream house".

So for the duration, and I would believe their expected move-in date of next spring is ambitious, they are renting a two-bedroom efficiency for the duration.

So yah, the perfect storm.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Oh my word, that has disaster written all over it!

The SIL's husband must be the Lord of the rings.

Engagement ring

Wedding ring

Suffering...

BIL is a total pushover, the wimpiest adult male it has ever been my misfortune to run into.

And yes, dead boring.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Doesn't it just, Trudi? Both SIL and BIL are retired, so they can't even escape to work. They get to live together and play happy families from here on in.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Lord of the Rings, at least the movie version, isn't aging very well. I started watching it again on Netflix a few months back and only got about 15 minutes in and became bored.

I can't watch it anymore, I don't have the attention span I did last decade.

Maybe I'll get sooper excited by the new Teen Titans TV Series, or maybe not ....  I can't honestly say what I've rewatched this year from beginning to end cause I liked it - I'm still waiting for the new Dr. Who series to finally come out of production for the late-fall viewing season.

OH, I did adore rewatching the Outlander Series, all 3 seasons this year and last ... But I digress...

That BIL thingie/human with the elder parent scenario ? I remember the OP mentioning the address silence on where they were moving to  - so finally it's a win win !
