Yes it's crazy early even for the US in General. They start August 13th here. At least this year I don't have to buy all the ugly jailbird uniforms or school supplies that my daughter never got to use because they were given away.

August 13th.

They start aug 13 here too.  Kiddo arrives that day.  Lmao

Instead of following a lady workout as I usually do with my 12/20 lb weights for the aerobics, I did a man designed one.  My arms buuuuuuuuurrrrrrnnnnnnn.  I had to downgrade weights and couldn't even finish.  🧐

I did 180lb deadlift yesterday.  Ditch the girly weights.  Big ones only. Except for shoulders.  Medial delts grow slow.  Only using 15lbs on them.

I definitely need to go up for some of them. I lost a lot of muscle mass when I was pregnant.  20 is definitely too light for non-aerobics.

Personally I prefer doing my cardio workouts with weights and not doing the traditional heavy lifting. I’ve seen a lot of progress that way and I get my cardio in.

But I can’t deadlift because of my back. I’ve got to be very careful to not reinjure it.

After this 8 week rotation I'm starting a new program that's a lot more conditioning... I'm going to do it for 3 to 6 months, see how I feel.  Theres a strong curves, glute building program I also want to try but I need to lose some fat first.

-- steak knife = half a buck, OK man

Mama T-B. held a luncheon for us & the Ecus at her retirement casa on Sat., generous senior she man.

We had to be there at half-of-half past Many a.m. (2x2x2+2+1 a.m.), early man.

Accordingly, we arose early, errands man.

Dropped Friday's resale-shop finds at same-day dry-cleaner, made the deadline for same man.

Got T-B.-mobile warshed & vacuumed, the latter including trunk, no more grass débris man.

Dropped regular shirts at regular dry-cleaner, requested same-day return man.

Stopped at Mexican supermarket for package of Bimbo hamburger buns, lunches for the week man.

Returned to casa after just an hour-plus, efficient we man.

Luncheon quite nice, separate room man.

Chicken* alfredo, asparagus, garlic bread, chocolate cookies, ingest all we man.

Nice conversation, interpreted by Mrs. T-B. man.

Ecus enjoyed tour of place, see they man.

Especially dug mini-lily pond with mini-waterfall, especially dig they man.

We enjoyed it too, enjoy also we man.

*Ontarklar take note and don't go aysheep, no D ma'am

Returned to casa, changed duds, went to ES, returned, napped for a glorious hour, do foregoing we man.

Unwillingly awoke to retrieve dry-cleaning, all in order man.

Gassed T-B.-mobile, tank from Louisiana nearly consumed man.

Returned to casa to find it empty but for cat, Mrs. T-B. took everyone to party she man.

Warshered/baked/folded rest of purchased towels plus some regular ones from week, diligent we man.

Wbf'd kitchen rags, prolific Mrs. T-B. back in casa man.

Wbf'd Nephew-Mrs.-T-B.'s duds, clean-clothed he man.

Dished the warsher, Saturday night man.

Warshered & now baking rest of week's bath linens, good grief man.

Rant, see man:  Mrs. T-B. used two of Mini-B.'s bath towels to bathe him, after we had pointed out the location of Mini-B.'s good towel to Mrs. T-B., missed it she man.  This totally up-messed the warshering/baking of the week's bath linens, grrrr man.

We hope to escape with just Many (2+1) loads on Sunday, totally dependent on Mrs. T-B.'s stuff man.

MIL has given notice at the retirement home, effective end of August. Moving in with charming daughter and her doofus husband. Ya, this will work

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

There is no way that you have much fat to lose.

How are you going to change it up?  I always find the whole figuring out what exercises to be so daunting that I'm curious how someone who knows what they are doing is up to.

I'm sitting at about 27% bf.  I'd like to be about 20-22%.

I found a program on t-nation called hard body for women.  I'll be honest, I dont program my own things.  I find what works by pros.  I can alter excercises within though because I know what excercises are interchangeable.  For instance this hard body workout has leg extensions and curls.  I wont do either due to how hard they are on knees.  So I will do Romanian deadlifts for the curls, and leg press instead of extensions.  Leg press works your quads more than the rest of the leg.  Your back makes it harder for you to do a lot of exercises. If you were to deadlift I'd say do it sumo and stay lighter.  If you had a gym to use I'd get you to use the hack squat, and at home do the goblet squats to keep the bar off your back.  You should plank and do bird dogs and dead bugs to build core stability.  Pilates would be good for you.  Builds great core without needing the flexibility in yoga.

Anyhow the program does lower lifting then lower conditioning, then upper lifting followed by an upper conditioning, then an overall body conditioning day.

I found an app called c25k (couch to 5k) and its 3 times a week for 8 weeks.  This is also a valid option for just cardio which I may do as well until the new year.
