No humidity here for a change!  Took dog in for her last ear checkup, and she is fine. Status dramaticus all the same. You'd think she was being murdered.

After quite a long and involved three phone call argument with the transplant center's new-ish nurse, she was made to understand Himself will be seen every year, in spite of what she thinks. For your average TX patient not as often as that is fine, but that is not what he's like. I gave up, in the end, trying to make her understand the situation. I e-mailed the Doc, and within 5 minutes she was on the phone all apologetic.  I offered it helps to read the actual chart.

So, he's booked for them, and Cardiac, and Neuro. Leave on Sunday and get back home on the Wednesday, all going well and no admission this time. Booked the dog in for the stay. Sad state of affairs when your only holiday this year is a hospital visit :lol:

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I'm just finishing my vacation.

Needless to say, I didn't get #### done.

No fishing, no farming, nothing. Eh but there's no fish out there worth catching in late July anyway.

<sigh>

I guess I'll need another vacation in August, to actually go somewhere.

And September, to pick apples 🍎

And maybe November, for hunting and fishing...

And December, for Christmas

And then Chinese New Year...

My wife is talking to her sister on the phone, (Gump's wife, that sister). And man is she long winded. And she stops mid conversation and talks to me. And she's trying to talk to her sis on the phone, and me in person. She's got me all confused, I dunno WT-h she's trying to ask me. How frustrating!

A good Friday, see report man.

Awoke at o'dark-Many to take Mama-Mrs.-T-B. & Papa-Mrs.-T-B. to GSs & ESs, we take senior she & he man.

No actual GSs in our 'hood, so T-B.-mobiled all the way across town to find some, do it right man.

True to form, first Many (2+1) GSs were uninteresting, sorry man.

Next stop was a full-casa ES, worth itinerarying man.

Got there half-of-half an hour before opening and waited in line in the heat, worth parboiling man.

The take, see man:

-- Many fluffy bath-towels (2 Sonoma, Many [2+1] Better Homes); 2 fluffy warshcloths; several canned goods;

     unopened canister salt; unopened bag sugar; Many (2+1) packs disposable plates; Many stacks disposable

     cups; nearly full box of super-sized (2.Many-gal.) slider-bags = $Many ($2x2x2x2-1), steal man.

The take by Mama-Mrs.-T-B., see she man:

-- Many (2+2) apparel items; pair shoes = $Many (2x2x2x2+1), pleasantly astonished senior she man

Next two ESs were duds, not full-casa ESs man.

One casa must be worth $Many,000,000, buy it with our pocket change man.

Last ES yielded the following for Mama-Mrs.-T-B., see man:

-- overhead-bin-sized suitcase; new-looking backpack; fanny-pack = $Many*

*ES dude accepted our offer for $Many ($2x2x2+2), steal man

Mama-Mrs.-T-B. ecstatic, pleased senior she man.

We then returned to the casa and ate casa-cooked lasagna courtesy of Mrs. T-B., cook she man.

Naturally, she fouled it by adding green peppers, :bonk::bonk::bonk: man.

We then napped for a glorious hour before awakening for Part 2 of the good-Friday report, see below man.
