After a nap-with-cat, we took brood to a newspaper-recommended Tex-Mex restaurant, try it man.

Despite caucus & assurance from Mexican cookette, stuff too spicy for Ecus, sigh man.

 

Mrs. T-B. encountered the same thing, see man:

What's "not spicy" to Mexicans is still "very spicy" to Ecus, and indeed probably to other Latinians, reality man.

 

We will not be back to that restaurant, no man.

The good news is that we used our $Many-off-$Many ($[2+2+1]-off-$[2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2+1]) coupon, partial recompense man.

After the restaurant disappointment, we took brood to PetSmart, free zoo visit man.

Ecus spent quite a while inspecting everything, process it they man.

 

Mama-Mrs.-T-B. raised eyebrows at double row of cat-trees, whoever heard of those or need therefor man.

Papa-Mrs.-T-B. asked why dogs needed to go to skool, training-classes man.

Nephew-Mrs.-T-B. couldn't believe tiny snakes, only industrial-sized ones in Ecu man.

Adult Ecus puzzled why cats/dogs/hamsters/critters need organic food, puzzle we too man.

All Ecus amused that guinea pigs = pets versus being eaten, cultural difference man.

Several fotos were e-mailed directly from store to Ecu, spread the strange gringo word man.

 

Mini-B. loudly tried to coax dozing hamsters into running in their wheels, disappointed loud wee man.

 

We are happy that above visit apparently ameliorated the bad restaurant experience, relieved we man.

When we came downstairs, she said "Buenas dias," say senior she man.

We adopted our dramatic, exaggerated novela*-announcer voice

 

*Spanish soap-opera, si man

 

and said, "Esta diaaaaaa:  la Grrrrran Final!  La hija numera una en la casaaaaaaaa!  Solo en Univision and Telemunnnndo-o-o-o-o!"

 

("This day:  the Grand Finale**!  The #1 daughter in the casa!  Only on Univision*** and Telemundo****!")

Mrs. T-B.'s flights both early, timely she man.

However, luggage tardier than 2 later flights, cost us an extra buck for airport parking grrrr man.

 

At the casa, Mama-Mrs.-T-B. made us repeat our soliloquy of above, re-soliloquize* we man.

Mama-Mrs.-T-B. laughed even harder this time, and so did Mrs. T-B., laugh senior she & she man.

Papa-Mrs.-T-B. accompanied us to the de-airporting of Mrs. T-B., accompany we senior he man.

During the trip back, he explained his getting-lost and interaction-with-chapas act, explain senior he man.

Mrs. T-B. said that he viewed it as something routine in the course of a normal day,  man.

Mowed r-casa lawn for what we hope is the last time for a long time, last long time we man.

Managed to mow our own front lawn before dark, just made it man.

Despite Manyple-digit heat index, we didn't quite die, we don't think man.

 

And now we can finally out-vacuum the T-B.-mobile's trunk, rife with grass-clippings man.

Going to meet, caucus with, and do r-casa walkthrough with new tenants on Sun. at Many a.m., meet/caucus/do we man.

Already told a couple of the neighbors about them, interested they man.

Neighbors sympathetic that it took Many months to re-lease the r-casa, sympathetic they man.

Towels barely fit into one load, wasn't sure man.

Next week will certainly mean 2 towel loads, sigh man.
