Dietjourney Day 3 almost over....I already lost 8 pounds....but the cravings I’m having are driving me insane...I’m going to bed now (7 pm) so I will not go to the kitchen and eat all the good stuff we have in there since the American in this household,who is not in the need of a diet, “needs” his cookiesicecreamchipswhatsoever

I started with 190 (85,9 kg) and am today on 182(82.7)

 

the only thing I really changed is drinking double the amount of water a day and WAY smaller portions of my meals

Smaller portions is definitely key, but I wouldn't be able to manage my weight at 188 lbs if I was experiencing cravings regularly.

 

One helpful thing was finding the right snack food for once mid-morning and then again once in mid-afternoon. Pistachios seem to do the trick for me. I do have to exercise portion control because I'll eat an entire 8 ounce bag in one sitting, so instead I divide one bag into 6 small baggies. These snacks pretty much do away with all cravings during the day as long as I eat something decent for my regular 3 meals.
