(NY) So today was my wife's interview,  her interview was 11:50 so we arrived at 11:00 am they gave her a number, P120 they told us to seat down,  after they called several numbers finally she got call by 12:33pm and after 15 mins she was out I was surprised because before her lots of people were in there for more than 45 mins and I asked her: what happened did you pass?? And she said YES they give her the oath ceremony day it is gonna be 5/17/19 thanks God this almost over,  thanks to visajourney this place helped us a lot!!!

I interviewed in ATL on 4/30 and was approved immediately subject to quality review. Quality review was completed and was put in line for oath ceremony the same day.

I’m a may 2018 filer from San Fernando valley ca.  Been waiting for interview. My biometrics were done in June 2018 and since then there hasn’t been any action taken. I called in and spoke with senior representative and he mentioned that this field office is doing applications from 13.5 months to 18 months and before that timeline there is nothing I can do. This is rediculous, this kinda wait time is absolutely insane! I don’t know why they don’t transfer files to lesser busier office where people are getting cases completed in 4-6 months. I feel like going to this immigration office and slapping everyone who works there to put some sense in them. Such unprofessional and uncoordinated group of idiots.

Hey yes. I'm about to be naturalized, we're lining up now to check if all the information on our certificate are correct. 

So excited for this journey to be over. Will apply for passport as well after this.

Thanks, Done with passport application and registered to vote as well.

Next step is for dual citizen, renewal of my DL and updating my status at the SS Office once I have my passport and my certificate back.

Dual citizen is not for all countries, some countries do not allowed dual citizen, I'm not sure if your country allowed dual citizen.

My country allowed dual citizen, the only difference is, once you're naturalized from another country your birth citizenship will be automatically renounced.

I still have my parents in my country and they don't want me to petition them, so I choose to regain my birth naturalization so I can stay longer in my country if in case of emergency.
