Congrats. Why did he concern about trips? How many day have you spend outside of the country. Thanks

I guess he was concerned because I had listed 15 international trips and I had 3 more after I submitted the N-400 which I gave that information to him during the interview. but the total days were just like 120 days.

Completed interview today. The guy was very through and it took about 25 minutes.

The first thing he did was have me raise my right hand and swear that I would tell the truth.

Then he took electronic prints of my left and right index fingers.

Asked me 6 questions and I got them all right.

Who is the VP?

Who was the president during WWI?

What is an amendment?

What is the supreme law of the land?

What does freedom of religion mean?

What is the capital of the USA?

He didn't ask about or look at any of the original documents I brought with me. All he looked at was my green card.

He asked me my full address and how long I had lived there.

He asked if I had left the country this year.

He asked me what my husband's full name is and his birthday.

He asked about past marriages both mine and my husbands, including ex's names.

He asked me every question in part 12.

He had me read a sentence on a tablet.

He had me write "Citizen's can vote" on the tablet with my finger.

He had me sign my application.

After he told me I had passed, he asked me to wait back in the waiting area for a letter. In about 15 minutes, I received a letter with the date of my oath, that is only 5 days from now on Tuesday 02/12/2019.

We just received the email from uscis stating that they have scheduled my son's interview. The appointment letter is still not available online.

He applied on 04/30/2018,  NOA dated  05/14/2018, walk-in fingerprint 05/18/2018. Paper based applicant at Atlanta. Interview schedule email received 02/15/2019.

Fingers crossed for all the May filers who are still waiting!

Thanks

It took a couple of days for the interview letter to be available on my son's uscis account. But we did see the update message in the account that new action has been taken right after we received the text message.

The interview went well. Since I did the same process 2 years ago, it seems that they have made a lot of changes now according to my son's experience Back then I only went to the small office to take the test and have my documents verified by one IO and the whole process took only 15-20 minutes. But my son said now you'll have to go through one window to verify the document and then go to the other window to take the test and then the third window to double check the document again. He said the whole process took about 1 hour. They were very thorough in checking the doc. So be sure to bring all the original documents with you. Also it may sound rare but they did ask my son to submit 2 passport photos. I don't know if it had anything to do with his name change but I would recommend bringing photos with you just in case.

Our office is Atlanta.
