I was able to Walk in yesterday at the KC office. I went in at 2:30 and was the only person there. Was done in less than 10 minutes.

This morning the porthole shows that the waiting time is 12 months, it was 7 months originally. Anyone notice a huge jump after this travel ban? I read there is a rush to citizenship now due to the travel ban.

Newbie here! Hi everyone! :)

N400 Online FIling -- May 22, 2018

Biometrics Scheduled -- May 25, 2018

Biometrics Taken -- June 14, 2018

Estimated completion (USCIS acct) 9 months -- March 2019

Anyone here who has shorter estimated completion?
I was reading one applicant from another forum, her field office is in LA but interviewed in San Bernardino. It only took her less than 3 months to complete her N400 from application to oath-taking schedule ceremony. Unbelievable! She said her case was straightforward -- no kids, college student etc.

Well, wishful thinking, I want to have the same fate as hers but 9 months is not that long of a wait. My foreign passport is expiring on October and I do not want to schedule any trips until my interview schedule is given.

Added my entry in the spreadsheet.

Good luck to everyone!

Hello-

Good luck with your journey. The estimated completion is only ESTIMATED.

The real timeframe could be either longer or shorter depending on how busy/slow/fast your office is on reviewing cases.

I saw many cases where the estimated time dropped drastically.

IN my case, after my bio being taken, 1 extra month was added. But honestly, I am not in a hurry and understand that's how the system works.

When you don't think about it, it passes by fast :)

Thank you. I checked it is indeed longer in USCIS website 10-16 months.

LA is 9-15 months, San Bernardino is 4.5-13 months.

My friend filed in February online. She had her Interview and then her oath taking in May at Orlando. The entire process was just a little over 3 months.

She said her online status showed estimated completion of 14 months.

Wow, that's actually unusual, from 14 months to 3 months! Congratulations to her!!!

If you look back at people who have filed earlier this year. You will see some of them from filling date to date of their interview is only a couple of months.

I don’t have any information about my I751 yet...  I’m CSC

I'm CSC as well. I filed my I751 last July and N400 two weeks ago. I did my biometrics this Monday. I have seen so many cases with pending I751 got transferred to NBC after they filed N400 to combine with their N400 interview. That's why I was wondering if you received any transfer notices.

Got it, that will be perfect if i have the combo interview, if not, my I751 probably will be processed by December this year. Do you know if  they do this procedure whit all N400 whit pending I751?
