Hi, guys. Good to see this forum. It did remind me as well. So I am paper file for N400, my priority date is 05/18/18, but I have my hand signature for application dated 05/16/18 and my package was delivered on 05/21/18. Since my hand signature is also 92 days ahead (based on 5 yrs, GC since 08/16/13), I worry about if they count this based on hand signature date or receipt date? Anyone had the same experience? Thanks a lot!

How did you get an early biometrics?  Did you just show up?  I am have just submitted my N400 and I have a bad feeling I will end up with an appointment when I travel end of July/August.  This happened with my ROC and I had to reschedule twice (later rather than earlier).

It really depends on the facility. In Oakland they are very well run and friendly so I went in around 1pm, after the rush is over, and it took me 5 mins. 

 

If you try Monday 9am or Friday 4pm, they may not be so amenable! The best thing is to google your local office and peoples eperience of walk-ins.

 

I went in armed with my flight reservations etc.

Thanks for the info!  They were pretty good at my last one, assume it maybe the same office.  I'm NJ but I had to go to Philly for the bio-metrics.  I'll def try this if it happens!

Biometrics scheduled for tomorrow June 15.

 

Checked for processing times for the whole ordeal and it showed 17 - 20 months.  Is this true? Seems a tad bit long. 

 

Also any suggestions if i should be clean shaven for the biometrics picture.

Hi

 

I sm not sure if someone can help me... My case is straightforward spsrt from a trip that i did. I started as resident on April 20th 2013 but i left three days after, i only went to "activate" my GGCC because i was pregnant.

 

I arrived after 6months and two weeks with my daughter and i have stayed since then (from Nov 03 2013) 

 

Techincally I could apply in Jan 2018 but i preferred to wait until August but not sure if you have met other people with my issue. The good thing is that the gap was at the beginning.

 

Any advice is more than welcome.
