Geowrain already gave you the only advice there is. you need to obtain the correct (long form style) birth certificate. Different countries have different processes for doing so. You can check the forums to see if anyone posted how to get one from Pakistan or you can post in the regional forums. You can use google as well. You must submit the BC with in the time frame they gave you.

I found the Consulate of Pakistan in Los Angeles is issuing those so I did fill the form out and sent the required documents to them so I am now waiting for response.

Couple other websites are offering services as well directly from Pakistan and the NADRA/Union Council authority. My uncle lives in Pakistan so he can get it too. Let's see which option works out for me. What is long form style?

RFIE was 4/30/18 and it is 90 days from that date.

Long form style is a phrase to refer to the complete BC rather then the 'excerpt" that you previously submitted. Long form certificates are typically printed on long pages and contain extra info that the excerpt leaves out.

You also got a RFIE rather then an RFE because the BC is considered initial evidence that they need to start processing your case. Its a shame it took so long for someone to get to your file and start processing it, but atleast now you know they are working on it and will resume working on it once you send the BC.

Personally I would use your uncle to obtain it and have him mail it to you. The services you mentioned can work as well just make sure they are obtaining for you the complete long form style certificate and not another excerpt.

I did a SR and online inquiry to Ombudsman so maybe that helped expedite my case. Consulate of Pakistan in Los Angeles does issue BC based on their website so I submitted the form, fees and all the required documents but they gave me some info on attestation in Pakistan when we exchanged e-mails.

This is the info for getting a BC from Pakistan.

Make sure what you obtain and submit meets the requirements outlined above. Attestation is another word for certify.

I know about that link, thanks.

Hello @Damara a member of this forum told me I can help me with some information.
I filled my I751 jointly, it’s been 11months now that I filed. I and my spouse have been going through some ups and down and I decided to file for divorce. my lawyer filed the divorce last month. However, I have been worried because I thought I need to notify USCIS, I discuss it my my lawyer and he said the immigration rules and procedure on this issue are not clear to him, Therefore, He want to speak with an immigration officer to get a better feel for the procedures that will be applied once UCSIS learns that I have filed for a divorce. He further said if I choose to tell, USCIS might ask me to start a new application or denial my application. I am thinking maybe whe my divorce is final I will then inform USCIS. Please  advise me.

Anyone used Mamoo in Pakistan site services to get BC from Pakistan? They seem to be the most reputable and reliable based on my research. Cost is USD $250 with 3-4 weeks timeframe for me to get the document.

There is also Chachu in Pakistan and another website I found on Facebook.

Any advice?
