Are you talking about EAD

Contact the congressman or senator right away, call them and write them. Same thing happened to me, I called the congressman and told her that it is out of processing date. I got the approval letters right away. But just approval letter, no EAD card. I do think uscis gave me the approval letter because of the congressman, they don’t even mail me the CARD which can take 30-60 days. Ridiculous ! But at least, I have the approval letter and I start to look for jobs now

how do you contact a congressman to get then to call Uscis?

I am so disappointed. We filed in May for AOS and when the processing times went past our received date we filed an inquiry into why our case is taking so long. I check the USCIS website every day to see if anything new was going on and every day it says "Your inquiry has not been assigned to anyone". Today is the last day they have to respond to our inquiry and STILL, no one has been assigned to our inquiry. WTH is going on with these people?

They need to process your case ASAP. I would try calling them and demand to talk to tier 2. They are way out of processing time now. I hope you get your cards soon!

I can share our experience, we've cross twice already. First time, we let the border patrol that it was he' first time crossing so they send us to secondary inspection. There they took us to the office to get a I-94 crossing permit which cost $6. After that they explained that every time he crosses he would need to have he's permit and combo card with him. We crossed yesterday and the officer just said documents and a minute later, have a good night. and that's it :) Pleasantly well. We were nervous but everything was great.

I contacted the congressman and I got my EAD approval letter on 23th November. But never got the card. I don’t understand, what should I do ? Just wait another month to call the congressman again?

I just can’t believe this, the congressman called uscis and they gave me approval letters but not the CARD. So ridiculous !

HI, I just got home from the trip, I was sent to second security check, but the guy only asked me how did I get the combo card and if my husband was a US citizen, then he was checking stuff in the computer and told me "have a nice trip" . I landed in Houston. They put in my passport "AOS" purpose. It took maybe like 5 min.

It was a different story when I landed in my country though, they had me about 3 hours stuck in immigration, they thought I was being deported🙄, I could have saved a lot of time if they could have only asked the travel permit, but after waiting to be called to the interview, they saw my combo card and they let me go.

Feels nice to be back!!

Do you live in Houston? Omg, did you use IAH?? that's where my hubby will be coming back!! I really hope he doesn't get stuck in immigration in mexico.

Did your husband go with you?

Really calming to know of recent stories of AP, since it will be his first time using AP and i won't come with, we are very nervous/worried of the slightest errors..

Fingers crossed his flight is in 19 days..
