haha we do . it's Dayton, Ohio. local office: Cincinnati 

 

Apparently it's one of the fastest offices. i've seen people getting interviews within 1.5 to 3 months after filling. mine was delayed because of my late response to the rfe. They literally mailed me the courtesy letter for I-693 one day after they received the RFE response...then the interview was scheduled within two weeks.

nice!! We're in San Diego, CA ... ours is 7 mths to 18th months...Its been 6 already lets hope soon

Hopefully you get it soon. One thing I learn from one of the Tier 2 officers is that the estimated processing times that USCIS give are just generic and aren't accurate... they are simply there to avoid people from calling USCIS all the times. They do not truly reflect how busy your local office is... if you look up Cincinnati OH, you will see that the processing time is btw 11 to 34 months. I haven't heard of any case that  truly takes that long in that area.

Please, please please update us in your experience. My hubby has his AP and he will be spending christmas in mexico. Going he'll be back here on january with no problems..

No, I haven't received my EAD yet. I called yesterday and was able to talk to a Tier 2 Lady. She was super friendly, very helpful and told me that my EAD was approved two days ago. No news concerning AP...

Wow that's almost 6 months. Hope you get it soon though. The waiting is frustrating. I've only gone 3 months so guess I'll have a few more months of waiting.

I-765 case was approved, new card is being produced.

I-485 Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

I can’t wait to have my EAD in hand.

I am so disappointed. We filed in May for AOS and when the processing times went past our received date we filed an inquiry into why our case is taking so long. I check the USCIS website every day to see if anything new was going on and every day it says "Your inquiry has not been assigned to anyone". Today is the last day they have to respond to our inquiry and STILL, no one has been assigned to our inquiry. WTH is going on with these people?

I'd be calling them up to ask that question! Unless they just haven't bothered to update the status and you might get a letter soon with the response. I wish they'd just email responses instead of wasting trees!

Are you talking about EAD? 

Contact the congressman or senator right away, call them and write them. Same thing happened to me, I called the congressman and told her that it is out of processing date. I got the approval letters right away. But just approval letter, no EAD card. I do think uscis gave me the approval letter because of the congressman, they don’t even mail me the CARD which can take 30-60 days. Ridiculous ! But at least, I have the approval letter and I start to look for jobs now
