Last Friday, I called to ask about my EAD and got transferred to a  T-2 officer within a minute ( i was actually shocked) , he went through the database and told me that i should be getting an interview soon 🧐 . He went on to say that the IO that is working on my case hasnt updated the record on the website yet and that there is no hold on my case (Response to RFE was satisfactory). Regarding the EAD, he told me to call back if i dont hear anything by Wednesday. I hope he's right though.  I've been out of the workforce for too long 😈.   

 

I'd like to call them again today, but i'm fighting the urge to do so 😏

11/19/18 Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

11/20/18 Interview is scheduled 😊 (got the email today)

Still nothing about the EAD

 

Patiently waiting for that letter ❤️

Hey everyone :) i need some advice. I realize there needs to be a lot of documentation evidence proving my marriage/relationship is legit, but the only document i have my name on with my husband is a joint bank acc. We dont have any insurance of any kind, and all the utility bills have his dads name only because we are living under his roof. We are planning to move out once i get my greencard so we dont see the point adding my name to the bills. Would this be enough or even convincing? We have lots of photos/emails, chat logs together over 9 years. 

(The status on my case right now is still being reviewed after applying for an appeal 3 weeks ago.)

EAD/AP was mailed 11/21/18 

 

now my question is is it safe to travel with the AP?? It states not gauranteed entrance...anyone can state their expierence?? With the holidays upon us we would like to travel to mexico

I'm traveling to El Salvador next week, hoping for the best coming back.

I think you should be fine as long as your I-485 is still pending. 

At this point, i dont think i will get the EAD card since my interview is in a couple weeks. I haven't received the letter yet

Hello, guys, without any update on my uscis account, today I got two approval letters for my EAD and AP. Anyone knows when I will get the actual EAD card ? Thanks!

Can someone shed some light because i feel i am in a mess. 😔  We tried to have my name in my husbunds bank account and house bills but i dont have a ssn so it cant be done. I applied for a ssn one month before my i-94 expired. 4 weeks went by after applying and i was told it could not be done because my i94 was close to or just expired (I cant remember what the guy said), so basically i have no documents to prove my marriage is legit except photos, marrige cert, and chat logs. Im so worried this is not enough. 😞

In our experience we went to Wells Fargo and added him to my account. They didnt ask for a ssn only for our marriage certificate and he's passport. Same for our Gas & electric, renters agreement and water. I don't know what cable company you have but I know COX and AT&T dont ask for ssn but you do have to pay a deposit. From now on ask everything to be in your and your spouse's name. I have family members that are immigrants and they have everything under their name in Texas, don't know why you can't? Try again. You shouldn't have a problem.

We are with Texas bank unfortunately but you gave me the idea to try another bank and start fresh with them! I guess different companies require SSN and others dont. Thank you

As of 2:30 am today here in San Diego, CA our status changed from response recieved to ready to schedule!!! Odd thing it says since the 19th?! But Im to excited to think about it!!! And yesterday we recieved our EAD/AP!! Wuujuuuuh!! Also we went down to the border to ask a cbp and he said that we can cross with AP card that they will send us to secondary inspection and thats all!! We are super excited!!

Hey guys I have a quick question,  my sister filed i485 together with employment authorization in may 2018 and she got her ead in October and also got a letter to attend an interview which she already had a little over a week ago but when I checked through this forum,  I don't see a lot that has attended an interview. She told me the interview went well and was told they going to get back to her In 30days.
