Feels so good to finally be able to do pretty much everything 😀 just applied for my DL and passed the written test, after that went to the bank and got straight approved for real credit card (not secured). Weird to think that like a month ago everything was so different lol..Hope you all will get some good new soon!

Hey, guys! today, finally, after 5 months my case status has changed to "My case is ready to be scheduled for an interview". What do you think how long it will take? If it is going to take another 5 months? LA office!

Hard to say I would check recent timelines for your local office to have a general idea how long to wait for an interview. I have my case ready to be scheduled for interview since June 18thand not expecting this to change till May/ June next year ;)

expect it anytime, I think they still try to not reach more than 6 full months 

Gosh its a long loooonggg wait....but happy for you atleast you got your ead. I live in NJ and i can't even get DL without EAD so its really frustrating to be stuck in this wait. Hope it over soon.

Hopefully it will go fast! I totally get you, I try not to be cranky and bitter but I lost such an amazing job opportunities 😒 well at least now I can wait for another ones in my little sleepy town 😉

my case status changed to "My case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" on September, 25 and no updates so far ))

Yeah, that now depends on you local fo. In houston, people getting interview this month are from april 2017!! 2017!!!!!!! So, inguess i have 1 more year of waiting..

5/11/2018 Priority date; sent to Missouri, MSCxxxxxxxxx

6/15/2018 Biometrics appointment, Houston TX

7/11/2018 RFE for Birth Certificate

7/23/2018 Sent BC in response to RFE

7/31/2018 Confirmation of receipt of the BC

8/3/2018 received courtesy letter for medical 

8/6/2018 Case is ready to be scheduled for interview

9/19/2018 EAD/AP approved

9/20/2018 EAD/AP card in production 

9/24/2018 EAD/AP card is ready to be mailed

9/25/2018 EAD/AP card is mailed, usps tracking included in online update

9/27/2018 EAD/AP card picked up at post office

 

I-130 for 2 husband's daughters (my step daughters) 10 and 17

Thank you very much for the answer. Besides USCIS processing time, how can you check how quick the office works? I can see from reviews on VJ that it takes approximately 1 year for LA office to schedule the interview.  While USCIS processing time shows that they are currently reviewing April, 2016 cases!!! Is there another option to check?

Well, i follow a fb page specifically for houston, dallas field office.. there really is nothing else to check. 

 

There is also another thread here in vj that i follow, 2017 houston field office. Thats where i find out.

Need help! Which transcript does USCIS needs?

 

Should i send the Return transcript or the account transcript or Record of Account Transcript to USCIS? both Return transcript and account transcript are free on the IRS website.
