Just got an update that my EAD card has been mailed to me, yay! I also received the notice of action papers today in the mail, but one thing made me sick to my stomach. It does say that if you leave USA and you had unlawful presence before (I overstayed over a year) you may be barred from admission even if you obtained advanced parole. What! I know that the officer determines and theres no guarantee, but is it really possible to get banned if you previously overstayed, meaning that that would be the reason for denial? I havent heard situations like this happening and it does say everywhere online that leaving US with advanced parole will not trigger the ban but that letter kinda made me worried now 😕

Congrats! That might just be a generic message and also a way of informing everyone that an AP does not guarantee your admission back in the states.

wow! that's incredible. Quick question, do they send your SS card also? or do we need to do that separately?

I requested they issue a SS card when we sent in the application.

When I filed EAD papers there was a question if I wanted to get ss card. We marked YES. I got my EAD card on Saturday September, 29 and ss card today October,1 - just in two days

I am in Virginia - They give Drivers license for 1 year on a receipt.

My PD is May 17th. No clue for EAD yet, People with tracking numbers ahead of me, I checked on USCIS website have "Card produced / delivered" as status. Mine still shows "Case Received" :( I am so disheartened.. I dont know if something is wrong with my case or what is going on !
