Apply Date: 5/3

EAD (No expedite) update: 9/25 card was picked up by USPS. So I assume it will arrive in this week. 

Interview update: we finally went to the interview yesterday (9/26). No questions were asked. Our interviewer just went over the I485 application form and made sure nothing changed. Got approved right away and USCIS website updated "New Card Is Being Produced"

01/27/2022 (Day 186)   --- Interview was successful but not given out right approval due to A-file not being available.

04/07/2022 (Day 256) --- Received notification that I am in line for Oath ceremony and it will be scheduled :dance:

04/11/2022 (Day 260)   --- Received notification that Oath ceremony was scheduled and notice was mailed. :jest:

 04/26/2022 (Day 275) --- Oath Ceremony.:jest: Became a US Citizen and received the Certificate of Naturalization. 🥰

05/11/2022 (Day 290) -- Applied for US passport at USPS.

05/18/2022 (Day 297) -- State Department site status says my Passport application is received and in progress and was given a locator number starting with 34.🤞

So, i just got the AP letter, and it says:

 

Before you leave the US:

UNLAWFUL PRESENCE:

if you have an unlawful stay, and you leave the us, you may be barred from admission into the USA even if you obtained advanced parole.

 

Is this like a generic line they put in the letter? I got shooked a little bit when I read it since hubby has been an overstayer 9 years now.

Remember that the AP does not guarantee that the officer will let you in the states. I absolutely would not try to travel outside the country if I were you. Better be safe than sorry! I would wait til I get the green card.

Feeling sad that so many people who filed after us are receiving their cards. We applied May 8th, NOA1 May 15th so it's now 134 days after NOA1. Hopefully soon

Oh my god. I think I just cried for a solid 30 minutes lol. I finally got an update that my EAD card is in production! Today marks 120 days since filing, but I have been in the country since December 2016.. Filed May 25 and PD is May 31st. Wishing all the luck to the other May filers!!!

I know that feeling! We are entering the second week of receiving the approval letter/case status changing to "Card in production" but no updates since then. I'm just so eager to have the card in the mail to finally get things going! Ugh so close yet so far!

Did you finally get an update that your card has been mailed? Our case was approved on the 14th and the card was in production a few days later, but nothing since then. Very curious!

So amazingly, I received my EAD/AP card today. There were no updates online/text that my card had been mailed, so it was a pleasant surprise to find it in the mailbox. 

 

Literally just received an email and text update (while typing this) saying that the post office delivered my card today  (tracking number was listed as "UNAVAILABLE").

 

Going to SSN office first thing in the morning to apply for one!

That is an amazing surprise.  

 

Im picking mine up tomorrow at the post office. I had asked them to hold all mail because of the address mix up. 

 

After that ssn office too!!
