My local DMV office is Santa Clara, CA. But I can see they don't really want to process AB60 from their attitude, probably more work loads for them...

No I an not a K-1 visa holder actually, I am using F-1 OPT but expired last month. But they didn't even look at my visa and I-94. All they need are the passport and proof of residency (I use I-485 receipt).

 

I think this is really case by case. One of my friend is also undocumented immigrant with pending I-485, and he got a normal D/L renewal...not even an AB60

Okay, I understand. The requirements here in KS is SSN, Visa and proof of address.

Dmv requirements are different with each state. Some are lenient while some are stricter. He in texas, they need proof of insurance, ssn and residency. Written and driving test is also a must before DL is given.

Ok, Things went pretty quick for me/husband 

9/17: received update that card was approved 

9/18: received update that card was mailed 

9/19: received update with tracking number and that it was now with the PO

Hi, today on September 24  I checked the uscis website and it was an update for EAD - New Card Is Being Produced. We filed for a combo, so will see

We filed on May,1   NOA1 is May 9 . There were no emails / text messages about this update

Check the new website tomorrow or next day. It should say approved for both.

I believe it is very odd for USCIS to call for cancelling the interview, from what I have heard, they usually would send a secured mail to do that.

 

I would suggest you to make an infopass appointment at the field office and talk to them about it.

I am also a May 1st filer and have the similar dates as yours.

My EAD also had an online update- New Card Is Being Produced as of yesterday morning (Sept-24th).

And today early morning, I received an email and text notification from USCIS about the Update.

So I am guessing you would receive the email and text notifications soon.:D
