MAY 2018 AOS Filers

I am 1000 % sure that the IO who was randomly selected to work on my case has been on vacation for the past 4 months. Sheesh! it's been 4 full months already! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ My patience level is on E right now.

When i first got my retail job, i just put that i graduated highschool. They didn't ask for my diploma or anything. 

 

I guess it depends on the employer.

Thanks! I received a second email that the post office picked up the envelope and it had the tracking number.

How long from card production update to card is sent? Does it take weeks or just days?

My card was in production on 9/19 and mailed on 9/21. So a few days in my case. Did not receive the tracking number, though.

Mine is too!! Production 9.19 but not mailed yet. I hope my address change goes through first..

Just got the online update that my EAD/AP combo card is approved and its in production. Yaay .....

(PD: June 1st 2018.)

Good luck for everyone waiting patiently for your EAD/AP cards, I am sure the NBC is processing June filers now.😁

They only told me if I need to apply real ID or change it back to the normal one, I need to wait until I receive the D/L card itself.

Hello guys,my interview was scheduled for october 3rd(next wednesday) and i got a call from uscis that the interview was cancelled and that it will be rescheduled  and no reason whatsoever was given to me..has anyone experienced this..i await your swift response and i am so devastated right now..thanks guys

If your I-94 is expired, you have to wait for your EAD is issued. That will allow you to get a SSN so you can get your drivers license. I know this is crazy. 😕K-1 Visa holders are here on an expired Visa with no other documentation and no way to drive, work, apply for credit....etc. This process used to make more sense when the timelines were shorter.

 

I guess it's worth repeating that K-1 AOS filers should get an interim SSN with their I-94 while they can.

I got SSN card before I-94 expired, DMV dosent cares about your SSN, the only two documents they required are passport with a valid visa and correspondent I-94

I was been told that AB60 would take a long time to go through secondary check in my area,  that’s why I didn’t apply for it. Where is your local DMV? did you applied AB60 with your K-1 visa and unexpired I-94?
