Yeah so a small update on my case: on my.uscis account I had an update June 18th that my case is ready to schedule an interview, so I have been waiting patiently. In last few days I couldn’t access my account bcs it said it’s temporary unavailable. And now I log in and see an update from June 24th that wasn’t there before:

June 24, 2018

Fingerprint Review Was Completed

As of June 24, 2018, we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCXXX, at our Jacksonville Field Office location. We will let you know if we make a decision or need anything from you.

Weird but I guess now they transferred my case to a local office... usuall for my zip code it should be Montgomery AL cuz Jacksonville is super far away... but they seem to be quite quick so I have my hopes up again. Anyone had a similar update after “ready to schedule an interview”? Let me know :)

Yes I had the same situation

June 13 Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

June 19 Interview was scheduled (though this updated was never visible to me, found it a few days ago at USCIS account page)

June 25 Fingerprint review was completed

July 26 Interview was completed and my case must be reviewed

day 36 after the interview and still no updates...

Thank you for replying. It concerns me bcs I had case ready to schedule for interview, no interview scheduled notice, and now this fingerprint complete and that they are working on my case which is surprising.

I think this is nothing to worry about, I saw similar situations in this thread some time ago, so you shouldn't worry . Good luck to you and your case!

So we just got this message in text and on the website for our EAD!!!! No interview letter yet, but does that mean it's coming? Also, does anyone know how long it will take before the EAD comes in the mail!?!? !

That's what it means
your EAD has NO impact on ur GC interview. they're two separate things so one being approved without the other is fine

Did you request for expedite? Because if not, this is HUGE news. Maybe NBC is picking up pace!

no we did not apply for expedite! We were literally in the process of doing so though... had contacted our senator and everything was just waiting on the job offer letter.... YAY!!

No I don't think you understand we never did the expedite we were about to but we never even finished the process

Am confused--
U said you contacted your congressman already. That to me means you already have the "steps" for an expedite already in motion. U didn't contact USCIS directly with an expedite request but now it's unclear to me if congressman acted on your behalf.
That's why I said it might be fuzzy to know if your case is not impacted.

But either way, this gives us all hope that NBC is hopefully faster than VJ timelines show.

There is no way my senator moved on my behalf they don't even have my husband's information. All they have is my email address.. I never sent the request back to the senator with all the details (name, dob, case numbers, etc) so there is NO WAY they were able to contact USCIS on our behalf.... If that's not clear I don't know what else to tell you... Sorry...
