Focus on concrete evidence of bona fide marriage. Photos weigh the least. I realize you do not have EAD/AP.. Since you're adjusting from B2 you also do not have a SSN. However, you can still get a joint checking account by walking into a branch. If you're not on the lease or mortgage, you can present a notarized affidavit of residence. When people don't really have proof of a physical address, they may use a document like this one to get a driver's license.

You can also get an advanced health care directive and designate each other as advocates to make health care decisions in case one of you is unable to. USCIS takes that document very seriously. Here's a link https://www.aarp.org/caregiving/financial-legal/free-printable-advance-directives/

Oh! Great information!

We have a joint bank account and his phone bill also have my phone number in it.

He tried to add my name in his company health insurance but that insurance company said they need a proof that my I-485 is being approved before they can add my name in it. But i have that reply letter from them so I can show USCIS that we tried?

For the Affidavit of Residence, we need to go to the notary public? Do we need to pay for that?

Glad you agreed the affidavit of residence is a good option. I strongly recommend the advanced health care directive. Like I said, USCIS takes it very seriously. It shows you two trust each other with your lives.

I think he can add you to his health insurance if he goes to his human resources office at work. They may be able to do it manually. You can definitely use the letter to show that you tried. He should be able to add you as a beneficiary on his life insurance, 401k, IRA. You can show that too.

I would definitely get the affidavit of residence notarized, as well as the advanced health care directive. Every UPS location has a notary public on site. It costs less than $5 to get a document notarized. If you're going to use affidavits from people who know you two, then get those notarized too. But have them mention also when and where they have spend time with you too. Support those claims with pictures and receipts. Then highlight the date and time on the receipt. Then if you paid with your joint checking account for that dinner/lunch/outing, then link that receipt to the image of your check card.

Explain in sentences the commingling that you do with your joint checking account. Literally, break down in words some transactions. On 06/29/18 withdrew $1,000 from personal checking acount. On 06-30-18, deposit $1,000 into joint checking account. On 07-01-18 wrote check for $1,000 to pay for monthly rent. Show an image of the cancelled check.

You get the idea. Don't just throw papers at USCIS without telling them what the evidence is proof of. I used the table of contents you will find in this thread as a template to list the evidence of bona fide marriage that we submitted with the AOS applications.

Great! We need to print our own affidavit and bring to UPS? Or they have a template there?
