I had mine biometrics on June 19 in Dnever CO.... and still no updates either. What the hell. Does anyone know how long this takes... Especially the EAD aspect

had my biometrics on June 4 and until now I still have not gotten any updates from USCIS... 3 days after biometrics my status changed from Fingerprint Fee Received to Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview and up to date there's no progress yet. This is soooo frustrating.

I had my biometric appointment and nothing has changed yet, even not ready to be scheduled.. But maybe yours will come soon. Which local office are you in ?

Im so happy! My case is ready to be scheduled for interview, I know it can still take a lot of time, but every progress is good progress

My case was received May 29, did biometrics June 26 and also had RFIE on June 20.

 

So a quick question, I haven't done my medical yet because I was waiting for the RFE  for that, could it be possible that they ''forgot'' to send it and I shoud get it done asap or can it still come in mail? Also my system never updated for the biometrics I had done but  I guess that's alright.

Hello! I even didn't get that message after biometric appointment (June 13). Current status: Fingerprint fee was received!

 

A kind of feeling that the world is going around for everyone except me :-/

you're not alone.

since i done my biometric (Jun 18) there's no updates for me too. Except i received a courtesy letter for my I-485 to remind me to have the medical exam done

 My biometrics was on June 18th and the current status is still: Fingerprint fee was recieved... And no letter at all.

Hello May filers,

I can see you a lot of you are frustrated because you are not getting any updates so wanted to share my observations from reading about people's experiences in the earlier groups from 2018 and also from 2017. 

In January, February and March groups there was a trend that quite a lot of couples were getting interview letters 2 weeks to 2 months after having done biometrics before even getting EAD and AP. The trend continued into April and in my ( April) group there were 4 or 5 couples ( in my eyes not so many) who had fast interviews. Later months I did not follow so closely. But it looks like things slowed down in terms of fast interviews since April.

I read that many people from last year waited a year or longer depending on the office. 

A glimmer of hope is that there are occasionally couples from this year who got their interviews 3 months or 5 months after having done biometrics despite their field offices having much longer time frames.

Getting EAD right now seems to be taking 5 to 6,5 months so a lot of people expedite EAD, a lot of them successfully so this right now seems the only way to do something about the long wait.

And not everybody gets updates, sometimes letters just shows up in the mailbox!

if we want to expedite EAD we need to have a job offer right?
